About this trip
Your guide will be waiting for you at the Colonia port or hotel. From there you will visit a boutique winery, it is a lovely and relaxing drive through the countryside.
You will have a private guided tour through the vineyards and the winery, and you will be welcome in a lay-back Uruguayan style. I know you will have a lovely time, as the winery owner is a friend of mine, and you will feel at home.
The visit and premium wine tasting are paired with a traditional Asado (our way to cook barbecue).
Wine and food will be plenty, and this is for sure a local food experience as well.
The price per person, includes transportation and guiding, premium wine tastings, and lunch at the winery. The tour usually takes 5- 6 hours.

Borravino Wine Tours was created by professionals born in Mendoza and Uruguay who were passionate about wine in our personal lives but working in other fields. One day not so long ago we decided to give up our day jobs and dedicate ourselves to what we are really love - wine and the culture surrounding it.

We had a great time. Our driver was on time and very friendly and knowledgeable. The wineries we went to were very nice and different from one another.
Salentein is a state of the art winery, very elegant. Their prestación and wine tastings were very good. Then we hit a smaller winery Finca Adelma and the owner was there and came to greet us which was awesome and the third was Finca Don Carlos. The lunch was a 5 course one. Very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tours in Mendoza and in Uruguay - each with terrific driver/guides named Agustin! The wineries selected were all excellent and the lunches were terrific. Superb introduction to these two wine regions - we highly recommend Borravino and their team!

I cannot express how amazing our trip was. The company went above and beyond helping us to and from the Mendoza airport. We had a breath taking day in the Andes and three days of wine tasting. Everything was well planned and very organized. Marcelo was the best! The wineries selected gave us a full picture of Mendoza’s wine. Truly a wonderful experience!
