Wonder at the dazzling beauty of a natural night sky on our dark sky tour. Mayo International Dark Sky Park has been certified at Gold Tier dark sky park for its night sky quality.

This guided tour combines a laser pointer tour of the starry skies and constellations with an introduction to the local nocturnal wildlife in the Mayo International Dark Sky park. 

Our dark sky ranger guides know the dark sky part intimately and will bring you to the darkest viewing places and bring the night sky and mythical constellations to life with a tour of the celestial heavens.

This tour involves some short walks with transportation in between.

Transport included & pick up/ drop off available from Westport or nearby location

Please note that this tour requires some mobility and short walk on uneven surfaces.  Comfortable shoes and warm clothing. 

Our standard tours (unless to a customised location), visits the Mayo International Dark Sky Park; a gold tier dark sky park accredited in 2016 and the only National Park in Ireland to host such an award.
