Melissa is an international experienced and passionate yoga teacher, banker, entrepreneur, daughter, sister and much more.
She believes that we all share a desire for a meaningful, fulfilling life. Her vision is to bring people closer to their natural being. Because everything we need for this is within us.
We do our best every day with our families, friends and at work. But there are areas that seem to us as if we have no control over them.
With a conscious and self-determined mindset, we can better recognise and change these areas. That's why she teaches Yoga (styles are Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin), meditation and breathing techniques, to bring deeper awareness, clarity and start personal development. It has been passed on by yogiinis for around 3,500 years - because it works. She studied with experienced teachers worldwide and participated in in-depth courses.
Johanna is an internationally certified yoga teacher with a specialised focus on Ashtanga and dynamic Hatha in addition to restorative Yin. She also prioritises pranayama, mediation and yoga nidra in her teachings.
Through her yoga classes, she cultivates both calmness and strength, supporting you to go beyond your limits and to get to know yourself through breath, movement and mindfulness.
She is passionate about exploring what defines a good life, inspiring others to cultivate an authentic relationship with themselves and others while challenging absolute statements such as "stress will kill you".
Johanna completed her first qualification in Indonesia in 2019 and continued to deepen her expertise in a yoga ashram in India in 2022. Additionally, she regularly educates herself in several areas such as Ayurveda and tantric philosophy.
