Arrive at the Cairo Airport where a representative of Mysterious Adventure Tour Guide Team, Mohamed Sayed (or associate), will greet through luggage claim and helping you secure your visitor's VISA. The rest will be smooth sailing.

A private vehicle will take you to Giza. You will stay at the magnificent 4-Star Flamenco Cairo Hotel, where all rooms have a vista of the Nile River! (or equivalent).

This day will be dedicated to relaxing and getting acclimated to your new time periods and environment.

Do not tuck in too quickly for tonight we will welcome you with celebration. Wake up to your first morning in Cairo. After a filling breakfast, we will travel about six miles south of Saqqara, where lies a breath-taking 2+ miles field of 4th and 12th dynasty pyramids, the Dashure Pyramids. Within it, lies the Pyramid of Ulnas, a huge subterranean complex with early pristine hieroglyphic texts and the Serapeum (tombs of the sacred bulls). There were originally 11 pyramids here, only the two Old Kingdom ones remain intact.

Pharaoh Sneferu (2613–2589 BC), the father of Khufu, built Egypt’s first true pyramid here, the Red Pyramid, as well as an earlier version, the Bent Pyramid. These two striking pyramids are the same height, and together are also the third largest pyramids in Egypt only following the two largest in Giza. These lesser-known Pyramids have only opened to the public in 1996!

We take rest in Zamalek for a traditional Egyptian lunch.

We will then follow Tracey and Mohammed to the Citadel of Saladin. The medieval center of the Islamic world was also once the seat of Saladin's sultanate, one of the most notable and significant figures in the history of the Middle Ages. His reputation was well respected in both Western and Islamic worlds. The Citadel itself, strategically located beneath the Mokattam Mountain, was made difficult to attack. multiple Today, the Citadel holds Ottoman-era mosques and museums dedicated to the military, police, and historical carriages. The structure also offers amazing views of Cairo and the desert beyond.

After a morning of group sessions that will prepare us for an experience of a lifetime, we take to market for a bit of Antiqes Shopping and and introduction to Egyptian Street Food.

We begin our discovery of Egypt at a slow pace to take in the only surviving intact site of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Accompanied by our expert Egyptologist guides, with a visit to the iconic Pyramids of Giza, also called the Giza Necropolis, is the site on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo. Nestled within you will visit the Great Pyramid of Giza,

The Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Keeping watch overall is the legendary figure of the Sphinx, with the head of a human and the body of a lion.

Adding to the thrill, we will receive an exclusive 3-hour private visit an opportunity to investigate and communicate with its spirits! This includes entry into the King & Queen Chamber with special access to the original entrance shaft.

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo (EMC) is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, housing over 170,000 artifacts. It has the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world, expanding from the Predynastic Period to the Graeco-Roman Era (c. 5500 BC-AD 364).

Stand face-to-face with the Golden Mask of Egypt’s most famous teenage King Tutankhamun among most of the mummies that have been discovered since the 19th century, including some of the most famous pharaohs, including Ramesses II, Seti I, and Egypt's only queen, Hatshepsut. You will see the beautiful jewelry discovered in the Royal Tombs of Tanis and other majesties. You will be connected to their legends and myths by our Egyptologist guide.

From here, right after a quick lunch, we will hop on a luxury coach transport to take us to the magical city of Luxor where the mystical realms will take us to incredible experiences. Along our ride, we will be stopping at the magnificent Medum Pyramid, that sits in the middle desert. Not visited by many tourists, it is the original site of a lost wonder of the world, a lost labyrinth.

We then proceed and arrive at our final destination in Luxor in the early evening..

Temples were built to reflect the Zep Tepi, the "First Time”, the beginnings of the creation of the world. The Luxor Temple is a true reflection of this time when the mound of creation emerged from primeval waters. This graceful monument dates to around 1300 BCE and was built by pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II.

After a lunch, we will go to the market, we will shop for oils after a workshop and demonstration. At 2PM, we will escort you to markets that offer Egyptian Cotton Goods, scarves and bed linen. At 3PM, it's off to the Hassan Fathy Village, where you will find Eco Architecture Pioneer & Crafts Shops.

We return to the Habu Hotel Ecolodge at 6PM where dinner will be offered. Thereafter lets us partake into a seance where we will be calling to the Gods!

We will start our day by visiting the massive temple complex of Karnak. It served at the principal religious center of the god Amun-Re in Thebes during the New Kingdom (which lasted from 1550 until 1070 BC). The complex remains one of the largest religious complexes in the world ever built for a god. Its multiple temple buildings are monuments to a list of pharaohs who all wanted to stamp their mark on the kingdom’s most revered religious sanctuary.

After our lunch, we will go shopping for gold and siler, visiting the old shops of antiquities. Late afternoon, we will go riding on horses and/or camels in the West Bank. (Those who will choose not ride, may return to the Habu Hotel Ecolodge. Early evening, after our rides, we will go to explore quality alabaster and stone crafts, with a God Statues workshops opposite the Valleys of the Dead. Dinner will be available at the West Bank, followed with a Seance calling to Kings and Queens!

Those wishing to take a breathtaking Hot Air Balloon ride will start their day very early before Sunrise! We then return to the East Bank for Breakfast at your hotel and a morning of rest.

At 12noon, we set forth for our Sailboat ride. Watch the warm breeze fill the traditional lateen-rigged sails. See minarets and skyscrapers drift by, and enjoy the serenity of life on the water, away from the city’s bustling streets. Simply relax on deck as the morning or evening light illuminates the riverfront’s swaying palms and wharves while enjoying a lunch banquet.

Early evening, we will visit the Luxor Village House and Life, and enjoy an authentic Egyptian Village Walking Tour. We then go to the markets to find treasures of authentic Papyrus Art Shops.

We retun to the hotel for our dinner.

We start very early, at 0300AM, for experiences you will never forget! Prepare for the Valley of the Queens! Located on the West Bank of Luxor near the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens is the place where wives of Pharaohs were buried in ancient times. Some included princes, princesses, and various members of the nobility, as well. Nefertari's tomb (Ramses II Favorite wife) is the most famous attraction.

We will take on a private exclusive 3-hour group tour visit of the powerful Nefertari's Tomb! The tomb is said to be one of the most beautiful in Egypt: it is completely painted with scenes depicting Nefertari being guided by gods.

After sunset, we return to the Jolie Ville Island Hotel for our Breakfast and a bit of rest. Mid-morning we will go to the Valley of the Kings! We start by exploring the Luxor Temple of Isis, located in the middle of the Nile River, it was built to honor the goddess of love, passion, and fertility in ancient Egypt. According to inscriptions on the propylon, the construction of the Isis temple started around the beginning of the 1st century CE.

We then proceed to the Tomb of Ay, located in the Valley of Kings. It is believed this tomb may have originally been intended for Tutankhamun, but he died unexpectedly early so another, private tomb was quickly enlarged for his burial. Later it was taken by his successor Ay, considered to be the last king of the Amarna period. Consequently, his tomb was badly mutilated and all images of Ay were destroyed.

Mid Afternoon, we proceed to Nour El Gourna Restaurant and Quran Children's School. To conclude our tours, we proceed to the Howard Carter' house, where we will attempt to communicate with his spirit!

Our Luxury Bus will take us to Aswan, where we will visit the Aswan Temple of Isis. This island temple complex was dedicated to the Ancient Egyptian goddess Isis.

We then proceed to Philae Temple, a World Heritage-listed monument. Embellished with hieroglyphs and monumental colonnades, this temple displays from the late Pharaonic era.

We conclude our day at the Unfinished Obelisk, which demonstrates the machining of an obelisk. There is much evidence of giant cutting wheels in the surrounding granite quarry.

Today we will visit the Temple of Seti I, which is the oldest known example of the Flower of Life in Abydos, Egypt. Most archaeologists maintain that they are at least 6,000 years old. The Flower of Life in Abydos in The Osirion appears that it was not carved into the granite but instead may have been lasered into the granite with precision. It represents the Eye of Ra, a symbol of the gateway to eternity and the journey back to our original sacred destiny blueprint and original mission of soul on earth.

We then proceed to the Denderah Temple of Hathor. Dendera is a Greco-Roman temple complex known in ancient Egyptian as Iunet or Tantere. The modern Arab town is built on the ancient site of Ta-ynt-netert, which means '”She of the Divine Pillar”.

The Dendera zodiac is an Egyptian bas-relief from the ceiling of the pronaos (or portico) of a chapel dedicated to Osiris in the Hathor temple at Dendera, containing images of Taurus (the bull) and Libra (the scales). This chapel was begun in the late Ptolemaic period. Detailed prophesy on The Ascension.

We will return to Luxor this evening.

Our last day in Egypt will be grand and starts with a Pre-Dawn towards Tutankhamon Tomb's, where we have been given a private exclusive permission to tour it. Be prepared, for we will attempt to ignite communication with the dead within these ancient walls.

Tutankhamun was only the age of nine when he became king of Egypt during the 18th dynasty of the New Kingdom (c. 1332–1323 B.C.E.). His story would have been lost to history if it were not for the discovery of his tomb in 1922 by the archaeologist Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings. His nearly intact tomb held a wealth of objects that give us unique insights into this period of ancient Egyptian history.

We return to our hotel for lunch and rest. Mid-afternoon we will be escorted to the Colossi of Memnon for a group photo shoot. We then follow with a visit to the Habu Temple Visit.

After our unforgettable journey through some of the world’s most undiscovered lands, it’s time to say goodbye to the archaeological wonders and the friends we’ve met along the way.

After a hearty Egyptian breakfast, we will take a luxury coach ride back to Luxor to Cairo, where we will catch our flights back home. A Post-Tour Day is offered in Cairo, for those that wish to spend an additional day there.

DAY 1: Arrive In Cairo

February 12th, 2023

Arrive at the Cairo Airport where a representative of Mysterious Adventure Tour Guide Team, Mohamed Sayed (or associate), will greet through luggage claim and helping you secure your visitor's VISA. The rest will be smooth sailing.

A private vehicle will take you to Giza. You will stay at the magnificent 4-Star Flamenco Cairo Hotel, where all rooms have a vista of the Nile River! (or equivalent).

This day will be dedicated to relaxing and getting acclimated to your new time periods and environment.

Do not tuck in too quickly for tonight we will welcome you with celebration. At 5PM, you are invited to a Welcome Banquet Celebration at the Ark Abusir, to meet and greet Dave, our staff, and your new Egyptian friends that will share their country with you! Enjoy, as our Welcome Treat, Egyptian foods Taster buffet, while you behold the sunset views of the Pyramids Field and Star Gates!

It was a fantastic trip. I went with my husband and the rest of our trivia team, and we had a blast meeting everything, eating delicious food and wine, and touring gorgeous location after gorgeous location while learning about the history and hearing spooky stories. We especially enjoyed the dinner and party inside Bran Castle. It was probably the most fun we've ever had. We also really enjoyed our fireside Halloween with mulled wine and snacks and spooky stories. Our local guide Vlad was perfection. Sarah was a friendly face, problem-solver, and she made sure communications were clear, and everything ran smoothly. We enjoyed Aaron's insights about the paranormal and had fun at our first investigation. I highly recommend this tour!

I can not begin to describe this Greece Tour. It was so much more than I ever thought possible!! The ancient ruins, to the people, the energy and beauty of what we got to experience. What I was not expecting was how spiritual this tour became for me. I would return in a heartbeat! If you get the opportunity to go to Greece with Maria’s Mysterious Adventures Tours in the future, you will not be disappointed. I feel like I left a part of me back there. Maria, you truly outdid yourself! Thank you isn't enough to express how I feel!

What a wonderful vacation a true magical experience!!!!! The connections, the spirituality - truly life changing. In addition, the travel experiences, all the places we got to see and experience. A HUGE shout out to Maria and her team, and especially her Greek team (Dimetra, Helena and Katherine) that put so much thought and intention into everything. Every day I was blown away by the history, culture and stories for Greece! Our hosts: Grant and Reanna Wilson were SO genuine and involved. They were a part of ALL our adventures. Hands on and with us every step of the way. Their kindness and generosity added to the experience. I loved every second and went on this tour of Greece not knowing what to expect - I left with over 20+ new friends that I know will be friends forever. I’m forever changed - if you’re on the fence of making a decision to go on one of these tours, don’t wait - BOOK!!! You will love it.

Greece was a life changing experience for me and my fellow travels. Mysterious Adventure Tours went above and beyond in the planning of this trip. From the knowledgeable tour guides to the historical places, we saw. Would highly recommend this trip for next year.

Honestly, I don't think there are enough words to describe the joy I felt on this trip. This trip has set the standard high for the rest of the trips to come. I definitely would have wanted to spend more time in Transylvania, especially in Bran, and more than one night in the Hoia Baciu forest and Corvin castle. Maybe even spend the night in the forest. :) Seeing Nevermore was an awesome treat for our first time in the Carpathians. I am hoping that the next time this trip comes up that Vlad Tepes' castle is open for us to investigate. I would have loved to have gone higher and further into the Carpathian mountains - further near the summit. The bed and breakfast in Bran - Villa Siana - was the chef's kiss. I wish we could have spent more time there just to sit by the fireside and share more stories. What can I say about Katrina and Vlad? Again, I'm an articulate person, but I can't think of what to say that would encompass their passion and generosity they shared this entire trip. I REALLY WANT TO SEE KATRINA BE OUR TOUR GUIDE AGAIN IN IRELAND NEXT YEAR. (hint, hint, wink, wink) She was so sweet, and had to put up with those of us (namely, ME) who wanted to linger a little longer to soak in the experience. Vlad was phenomenal, intelligent, knowledgeable, fun, exciting, encouraging... I wish he could go to Ireland with us, too. I think the only disappointment I had was the experience at Bran castle. It felt too much like we were being shoved through an attraction at Disneyland. I know that it is a popular attraction around Halloween, especially with the party going on. I was under the impression that the dinner and party would be in the castle and not outside of it. At least that's the impression I got from the description. The food was phenomenal. I didn't bring back enough chocolate or palinka! Thank you all for this memorable trip and the new travel family I have. Heather PS. Our bus driver had some mad ninja driving skills for the places he took that bus and how he could turn it around. And I do miss having Alle in our faces with the his camera. IT felt like having a personal photographer around. It would be nice if he came to Ireland as well.
