This path runs through an area of great scenic beauty in the Serra de Tramuntana, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The name "Cami des Pintors" comes from the fact that many artists, such as painters and poets, found inspiration in this natural environment and left their mark through their works.
This route offers spectacular views of the mountains, olive fields, pine forests, and traditional Mallorcan villages. It also passes through places important to artists such as Robert Graves, a famous English writer who lived in Deià, a town close to this route. In addition to its natural beauty, the trail also offers the possibility to visit various art galleries and workshops of local artists along the road.
