Experiencing a day trip while travelling from Fes and through the sights of the Rif Mountains towards the blue town of Chefchaouen. A village painted in Blue with natural sights and soothing atmosphere.
We start at 8 am. You will be met by your driver, at your accommodation in Fez. Chafchaouen is located in the Rif Mountains near Tangier and is easily recognized by the city’s blue-washed buildings.
Our journey consists of 3 stops along the way to Chefchaouen. Our first stop will be at Dam of Sidi Shahid, to enjoy the sight and take some pictures. The next stop will be a break for washroom and cafe. the last stop will be at the beginning of the city, with a sightseeing view that overview the whole city.
You will have about 4 hours to explore the picturesque small city's streets of the medina, where we encourage you to discover the local shops and cafes. The main square is known as Plaza Uta el-Hammam, which includes the Kasbah Museum, dating to the early 18 century. You will all see the Grand Mosque and perhaps the Ras Elma River that runs through the old city. You may also want to visit the Ethnographic Museum, which contains musical instruments, antique weapons, and photographs of the old town. You will have time to have lunch then We will head back in the afternoon to Fez, which will conclude this trip.
