Learn how to surf or improve your skills with our 1,5 to 2 hour surf lessons!
Discover the thrill of surfing in Punta de Mita, Mexico. With diverse breaks (Like La Lancha, Anclote, Stinky's) catering to all skill levels, this coastal haven promises an exhilarating surfing experience, not to mention the amazing jungle scenery.
Itinerary
Expected departure time between 12-3 pm. We'll contact you via WhatsApp a day before the event to coordinate the best time.
We meet at our surf school where we pick boards, load them up and drive to the selected break. We walk in approx. 8 minutes to the beach where you will start with a 1,5 - 2 hour lesson! The entire trip takes 4 hours.
For first-timers the first 20 minutes will be spent on the beach:
- Learning the right way to position yourself on the board, pop-up, etc
- Mastering the technique to paddle efficiently. Understanding how to read the waves, which is essential for any surfer.
- Familiarizing yourself with ocean safety measures, ensuring a fun and safe surfing experience.
Once the basics are practiced a few times, it's time for the real action. You'll head into the water where for the next 1.5 hours, you'll be catching waves. But you won't be doing it alone; your instructor will be with you, guiding, assisting, and ensuring you harness the waves to the fullest.
Maximum students per instructor is 4, (4:1) but whenever possible we prefer less!
For people with experience, the sand part will be very quickly or even skipped, and you will be heading to the water practicing for 1.5 hours with the instructor!

At our surf school, we believe in providing personalized attention, even in group settings! That's why we maintain a maximum ratio of 4 students to 1 instructor, and wherever possible less. This ensures that everyone gets the best guidance and support throughout the session.
During our group lessons, we use a rotating system to optimize learning and maximize time on the waves. As one participant takes off on a wave, another one rides, a third paddles back out, and the fourth enjoys a well-deserved rest. With this dynamic approach, we make sure that everyone gets a chance to practice, receive feedback, and recharge.
