Roni Yaari
Lead Teacher
Founder of Inner Spirit Yoga School, RYT, Massage Therapist, Sound Healer, Coach
It is often said of Roni that she has the wisdom of a woman and the soul of a child. While she is a self-taught dancer, painter, and artist regardless of the medium, she has also developed an uncanny awareness and understanding of our physical and mental selves, starting as a child, which she had always felt compelled to share with those around her. At the age of 18 Roni began her dancing career, performing in many different ethnic styles including middle eastern belly dance, flamenco, Indian classical, modern styles, and Hawaiian hula. She toured extensively throughout the Middle East and Asia giving solo concerts and instructional classes. Roni began teaching yoga classes at the age of 24, and in 2006 became the founder and owner of Inner Spirit Yoga Center in East Northport, New York. Roni teaches an eclectic mix of physical yoga and mindfulness based meditation, all with the focus on developing and maintaining a Harmonious life (based on the yogic philosophy of ahimsa). She places an emphasis on not just doing yoga, but truly living yoga, and hopes to pass that on to others by inspiring them through personal example. With almost 3 decades of experience behind her, raising a family, teaching, certifying new instructors, life coaching, performing, and leading wellness retreats, workshops and seminars, she is honored to be of continued service to our communities.

During the most formative years of his life, with the help from his Aunt Roni, Oren developed a body-conscious practice centered on yoga asana, meditation, and chanting; one that continually serves him to this day. In 2018, he completed 200hr teacher training with Kula Collective in Costa Rica. Oren later gravitated to the Ashtanga primary series during college. He’s also trained modern, contemporary, and ecstatic dance in NYC, spending most of his time conditioning his body to become a lighter, more dynamic vehicle for creative movement. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York as a professional dancer, ayurvedic chef and bodyworker.

She is a trained dancer whose love for movement brought her to exploration of the body through her training and certifications in both Yoga and Pilates. Over the past two years, while traveling throughout Central/South America and Europe, she has been sharing her creation PALOGA, a full-body physical practice designed to lengthen and strengthen the body and mind through breath and conscious movement. As a teacher and space holder, she creates a loving, safe container for healing, and believes in sharing yoga as a lifestyle, as it is for her, by focusing on moving the practice off the mat and integrating.
