This was my first tour guided vacation at 77 years. All went well. The gardens were magnificent , the bus rides were comfortable and the tour guide, Lois was awesome! I was happy to connect with more nice people who are now an addition to my tribe! Thank you

Lois and Terry went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, comfortable and included. I am a gluten free, sugar free, vegan; not easy to accommodate. My flight arrived late and Terry came to the airport to pick me up. I am very stressed by travel and felt so comfortable with Terry and the transportation. Lois shopped for snacks I could eat and delivered them to my hotel and made sure they were put in my room prior to my arrival. What a relief to have something good to eat after a long flight. Lois was completely organized and made sure our entire itinerary was managed perfectly. The driver was reliable. The venues were prepared. The dining options were varied and all quality food. I had vegan options available at each dining experience. The itinerary was stimulating and allowed enough time to avoid stress and plenty of time for rest and restrooms. The itinerary venues were all beautiful, with guides or self directed tours. There were passionate, knowledgeable people at every stop. On the day I departed my flight was not until late. Lois chauffeured four of us to yet another garden venue and delivered me to the airport. I can't thank Lois and Terry enough for making my visit to Oregon so very special and memorable.

We had a great time with a good mix of gardens, Oregon landmarks, and interacting with Oregon State Master Volunteer Gardeners and faculty. The hotel choices were great and transportation daily was convenient and timely. we would definitely recommend this trip to other garden enthusiasts and Master Gardener Volunteers from other states.

Plenty of things made it superb. For me personally, it was a first trip I took after retiring from Extension. Things that made it special were the in-between side trips like urban walking downtown Portland to shop and see architecture, sustainable meals, welcome meal at the bar downtown plenty of time to enjoy locations apart from docents tours, excellent farm sites, interaction with Oregon Master Gardeners, sideline trips up Mt. Hood and up Portland waterfront to hospital, excellent hotels. Well organized and just the right amount of sitting on the bus and walking each day. Some of us did plenty more walking thanks to Lois's encouragement.

Oregon Gardens and Grapes Tour was well thought out and planned. We visited different farms and gardens from locally grown dahlias and lavender to Japanese and Chinese gardens The trip included many other of Oregon's treasures - waterfalls - vineyards - Mount Hood and Timberline Lodge. Lois, our tour guide, was very organized, professional and very friendly. She communicated before, during and after the trip. We did not feel rushed and always knew when and where to meet as a group. I would travel with Lois and WeTravel again.
