- Arrive at Rome's Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport

- Take a bus or train to your hostel in the city center (approx. €10)

- Check-in to your hostel and freshen up

- Visit the famous Spanish Steps and explore the nearby streets (free)

- Enjoy a traditional Italian dinner at a budget-friendly restaurant (approx. €15)

Day 2: Ancient Rome

- Visit the Colosseum (free admission, but guided tours require a fee)

- Explore the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill (free admission)

- See the ancient ruins of the Temple of Augustus and the Arch of Titus (free)

- Enjoy a panino or pizza for lunch at a local deli (approx. €5-10)
