- Bungalow Tree House, one of the most gorgeous rooms available. Ther only room with a king bed = $2,895 per person
- Bungalow Selva, anothe gorgeus room with a Queen + single bed = $2,695 per person.
- Bungalow suites, two simpler rooms with a Queen + single bed = $2,125 per person
All other rooms are for 3 & 4 people. This is the perfect adventure to bring your friends or make new ones.

Each bungalow is designed with a very distinct architectural feature that the indigenous from the area have been utilizing for hundreds of years…. the palm roof.
Not only are these structures made from sustainably and locally harvested palm fronds, the vaulted ceiling design keeps the rooms cooler and more fresh than any other available, man-made material.
Let the soothing sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep after a full day on the beach and exploring the area. Our simple, clean and comfortable rooms are equipped with full private bathrooms, outdoor showers, fans*, down pillows and plush sheets and towels.
Currently, there are 11 Bungalows each with private bathrooms and open air showers with hot water.
*In order to maintain our sustainable and low energy consumption practices, there's no A/C (Air Conditioning) .
Cancellation policy:
It is highly recommended to buy traveler's insurance!
You can cancel your reservation by May 10th, 2025. $350 non-refundable fee is applied.
Cancellations between May 11th - June 10th receive 60% off their total packages.
Cancellations from June 11th - August 26th receive 30% of their total packages.
If you cancel 45 days or less before our retreat (by August 27th, 2025) - only 10% of the package will be refunded.
About the retreat leader - Andreina
Andreina grew up in Venezuela and her mom was a travel agent.
An idea started when she was about to turn 15, becoming a quinceañera. The possibility for a big & dreamy trip was on her horizon.
Andreina's mom (Amanda) told her that if she could find 15 friends that could join the 4 week Europe quinceañera trip and pay for it, Andreina's spot was financially covered. Guess what? Andreina spent a whole month in Europe + 2 weeks in Madrid with her godfather and his family.
Andreina started organizing retreats in 2014, starting in Tulum Mexico for two years. In 2016, she took a group to Havana & Varadero in Cuba. In 2017 & 2018, they visited Nosara in Costa Rica and also Peru. In 2019, they went back to Peru and also disconvered Chacala, Mexico. In 2023, they went back to Chacala & in 2024, they made up for the years they didn't travel because of COVID. Four trips were offered in 2024: Camino de Santiago Frances, Coast of Barcelona, Camino de Santiago Portugues and Quimixto in Mexico.
Andreina's love for traveling, building community, exercising and connecting with people has made our Dejando Huellas adventures her best gift to herself and to others.

The Nukuba Bungalow is inspired by the serene and organic beauty of the seashell, specifically the shells sacred to the local Kogui indigenous population that inhabit the Sierra Nevada.
This exquisite room features a tall, lofted roof, crafted from bamboo and thatch. Nukuba signifies shell in the Kogui language, and this structure embodies the same sense of security, tranquility, and contentment that a seashell offers to its cherished occupant.
Each Nukuba Bungalow boasts a private wooden deck front porch and are set apart and more private than the Bungalow Suites and Standards.
They have one four (4) single beds. The max capacity is 4 guests.
There are two Nukuba bungalows and Eeach Nukuba has a private, open-air bathroom.

The Bungalow Sierra is our largest and most stunning room.
The carefully curated design is inspired by the mystical Sierra Nevada mountains with her snow capped peaks, and the sacred geometry found in the triangular patterns in nature as well as our local indigenous cultures.
Featuring breathtaking beach and ocean views and at over 80 square meters (800 sqft), this bungalow boasts an open floor plan with four (4) single beds.
This Cathedral Style structure is made with natural and native guadua (bamboo), hardwood and clay from the lower region of Sierra Nevada Mountains.
The large and unique bathroom has 2 sinks and a shell inspired shower with hot water.

The Bungalow Selva is an all wood bungalow and is our most private and exclusive option.
This is the closest option to the beach and the most private. The Bungalow Selva also has a private sitting garden in front of the bungalow.
It has a one (1) queen bed and one (1) single bed as well as a private bathroom with open air shower and hot water.

This two- story Bungalow is tucked away in the jungle gardens of Gitana under our beloved Mango Trees and has gorgeous views all around. Designed with all wood and selected Bamboo details, this gorgeous space has a opened living room, balcony with views of our beachfront forest and the most incredible private bathroom with outdoor shower.
Ideal for a couple, the room has a King bed that can also turn into two twin beds during Yoga Retreats.

Itinerary
At the beautiful and peacful retreat center, Gitana del Mar.
Join us in the evening for an opening circle to meet, connect and socialize with other participants. You will feel welcome and supported, even if you don't know anybody who will be attending, I can assure you!
