Enjoy the incredible paddling and magic of Surge Narrows Marine park on our all inclusive experience at Discovery Island Lodge. This experience offers a relaxing five days of sup touring in and around the magnificent Surge Narrows Marine Park. Included in National Geographic Canada’s 50 Places of a Lifetime, the Discovery Islands are a standup paddle boarders paradise and considered to be one of the West Coast’s best kept secrets with its abundant marine wildlife, protected waterways and some of the most biologically rich marine ecosystems on Vancouver Island.
Although this is not a learn to paddle trip. it is a trip where you can vastly improve your paddling techniques and ocean touring experience. You can expect to paddle 6-10 kms over two hours on the half days and we may have a full day around 15 kms. Much of the paddling can be protected and calm but you can also expect wind and wavy conditions at any time. We do our best to always choose the safest and most efficient times to be on the water.
A $300 non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with full payment, auto billed, due 60 days prior to the trip start date.
