Raschel A. Kloos - Bad Kitty Yoga
Yoga Therapist, E-500 RYT, YAECP, Sound Healing Certified, Reiki Master
Meet Raschel, your vibrant guide to the world of yoga and wellness! A true San Diegan at heart, Raschel's journey with yoga began in the early 90s, seamlessly aligning with her life in Encinitas and Point Loma, CA. Married with two boys and surrounded by the joyful chaos of four dogs, Raschel's life is a testament to the balance she finds through the practice of yoga. In 1997, Raschel's yoga adventure took a transformative turn when she crossed paths with Patty Pace, an Iyengar Yoga instructor at the School of Healing Arts. Recognizing the profound impact of yoga on her life, Raschel eagerly dove into an Iyengar Yoga teacher training, deepening her connection to the practice.
Life's twists and turns led Raschel to a pivotal moment in 2012 when a car accident prompted doctors to prescribe more yoga for her healing journey. This directive became the catalyst for her 200hr Hatha Yoga teacher training, where she discovered the therapeutic power of yoga in mending both body and soul.
As Raschel's love for teaching blossomed, she pursued further training, completing her 300hr teacher training and earning her 500hr E-RYT certification from the esteemed Roots and Wings Yoga school in Vista, CA. Her dedication to diverse yoga styles is evident in her training in Ashtanga with Tim Miller, Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater, and Wall Yoga with Jason Cull. Raschel's commitment to learning has taken her to workshops with renowned figures like Leslie Kaminoff, Kino McGregor, and Richard Freeman. Not content with just traditional yoga, Raschel explored the realms of Sound Healing, Reiki, and essential oils, adding unique dimensions to her holistic approach. As a certified Sound Healer and Reiki Master, she brings a harmonious blend of ancient and modern healing practices to her students.
Raschel's passion for continuous learning extends to her current pursuit of Yoga Therapy Certification at Soul of Yoga in Encinitas. Working towards her C-IAYT certification, she delves into the emerging field of Yoga Therapy, blending her diverse skills into a comprehensive healing modality. Join Raschel on a transformative journey that extends beyond the yoga mat. When she's not guiding students through poses, you'll find her immersed in family adventures, tending to her garden, experimenting with her 3D printer, or lending a helping hand through her volunteer work. Immerse yourself in Raschel's world, where yoga is not just a practice but a way of life, and let her inspire you to embrace wellness, connection, and the joy of continuous self-discovery.
