Today you will explore the Egyptian Museum including the King Tut collection with its golden mask and coffins. Our Egyptologist guide will take us on an exploration of these fascinating ancient monuments. Before departing the Museum there will be time to explore some of the additional displayed artefacts. (If the GEM Museum is open we will visit the GEM Instead of the Egyptian Museum). Later you will wander in Coptic Cairo visiting, sites that may have sheltered the Holy Family in their flight to Egypt. You will then see the Crypt Church where the Holy Family rested & sheltered. This will be followed by a visit to Ben Ezra synagogue which was built in the 9th Century. Finally, you will visit a papyrus museum to learn how ancient Egyptians made their long-lasting paper. Papyrus paintings of all sizes are available to purchase as souvenirs. This evening you will enjoy a traditional Egyptian barbeque dinner.

Today you will drive south through the rural area of Cairo, to explore the Step Pyramid of Saqqara which was built in the 27th century BC, one of the oldest stone pyramids in the world. You will stop at a carpet tapestry school to learn how handmade carpets are made and to shop if you like. In the afternoon you will explore one of the world's most spectacular sights: the Giza Pyramids which are the largest tombs on earth and last of the ancient wonders of the world. Next to the pyramids you will face the imposing Sphinx. Evening free at your leisure.

 Today, you will board our early morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, we will start exploring Aswan’s famous sites – the High Dam and later Philae Temple on the island of Agilika. Later, after our check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day is free for your leisure, so you may like to join a Nubian Village Tour: where you will travel up the Nile around Aswan cataract, enjoying fauna & flora of Aswan & Sahara desert while watching the migration birds nesting around. You will also meet a Nubian family in their home and learn about their culture and traditions.

Have a free morning in Aswan or take our optional extra tour to Abu Simbel (must be booked in advance). Abu Simbel is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments." Here we visit the massive temple of Pharaoh Rameses II, perhaps the greatest builder of temples in ancient Egypt (13th Century BC), and a second one of Queen Nefertari, Rameses's most beloved wife.

Midday we will be boarding our Nile Cruise (03 nights await you to relax on a wonderful River Cruise). You will enjoy cruising downstream the mysterious Nile River; the longest river in the world. This is a great opportunity to kick back and watch Life on the banks of the Nile going by. Our meals start with lunch, a mixture of delicious local & international dishes served onboard. There are a few stops on the way to Luxor; Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna where We will pass the Nile lock. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, so you may like to join an Extra Trip to Elephantine island, or you may like to explore one of the spice shops around the city.

Free morning before we set off sailing towards Kom Ombo temple where we visit the remains of Kom Ombo Temple, situated on the riverside. Unlike most, this temple is dedicated to two gods - the crocodile god of Sobek and the solar god of war Horus the Great. Later we will continue sailing towards Edfu city, where we will visit the land of Horus and Seth, Edfu temple considered to be one of the best-preserved Egyptian Temples. This site was initially developed 1000 years before Abraham came to Egypt! Continue sailing towards Esna City/Lock and overnight.

We will continue sailing towards Luxor today. We will enjoy morning breakfast and pass through the Nile Lock at Esna. Depart the boat to explore Luxor's famous east bank sites (Karnak & Luxor Temples). Here within the temples, we will explore and enjoy timing around the Exodus and the suggested pharaoh (the temples were constructed during the period of the bondage and Exodus - and they were founded in the reign of Amenhotep III, grandson of the pharaoh of the Exodus).

 Today we will disembark from the Nile Cruise before crossing the Nile to visit the vast burial city called the Necropolis of Thebes. You will explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari & the Valley of the Kings, entering up to three tombs to see the remarkably preserved interior wall paintings depicting life and death in ancient Egypt. You will visit an Alabaster workshop to learn how ancient Egyptians made their statues and to shop if you like. Around midday, you will check in at the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day free at your leisure.

Or you may want to explore the world of Lapis and Turquoise and other precious stones in a visit to a jewellery shop – you might wish to have your name written in Hieroglyphic in an Egyptian gold cartouche. Or you might like to join our optional extra excursion – a Calash Ride (horse-drawn carriage) for 75 minutes around Luxor’s rural & local market areas, a great way to see local people and culture.
