This two day class will be in the beautiful Shambhala Meditation Center. The Center is located at 37 N. Carpenter Street in West Loop Chicago, IL. The class offers 14 CEU credits. Class will begin Saturday with lecture covering all eight of the extraordinary channels. This will take most of Saturday and with the remaining time we'll have the opportunity to watch Ann demonstrate intake, diagnosis and treatment of these channels. Sunday there will be time for questions but the day will be dedicated to more live, in person treatments of patients. Ann will give insight into point selection and technique as well as fleshing out the use of particular channels for treatments.

The aptly named Eight Extraordinary Channels are inherent in, and therefore understandable by, all human beings. They govern the unfolding of one’s blueprint—the divinely bestowed destiny of a lifetime, including the process of physical development both in utero and prior to in utero, bonding, separation, the stance, growth, maturity, major milestones, aging, decline, and death. As the inevitable challenges inherent in these stages of being human are encountered, the Eight Extra Channels can become stagnated, or burdened, causing the emergence of a wide range of responses from the body itself, including psychological and physiological manifestations. The practice of the Eight Extra Channels, which includes the cultivation of a particularly open mind, can result in the return to a sense a freedom of mind and body that the patient might not even remember, but that is at the core of their being.
