About this trip

Join our small wine group traveling through the heart of Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile, starting on April 5th - 14th!

Visiting Buenos Aires and Mendoza, designed for curious travelers eager to immerse themselves in the local culture and its flavors. This is a truly authentic experience, created by a local specialist in wine and luxury travel. An extension day to Uruguay for an unknown wine experience and 3 days in Chile have been included.

The trip begins in Buenos Aires, you will be picked up from the Airport and transferred to the hotel, where you can rest for the day. We will have dinner together and get ready for the journey!

On the second day, we will discover Buenos Aires city, getting to know all the major neighborhoods and iconic landmarks.

A day trip to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, to visit the historic quarter of the city (a Unesco World Heritage site), and have lunch at a winery, where you will sample Tannat and other wine varietals.

We will spend 3 nights and 3 days in Buenos Aires, and we will fly to Mendoza.

After arriving in Mendoza, you'll discover the Mendoza culture and city, along the vineyards nestled against the stunning backdrop of the Andes Mountains.

My deep knowledge and carefully curated wine tours are not just for connoisseurs, but for anyone who appreciates the art and soul of winemaking.

You'll have the chance to meet passionate winemakers, explore boutique wineries, and savor the region's renowned Malbec and other wines while learning about the fascinating history and traditions of Argentine wine.

After 4 days and 4 nights in Mendoza, we will cross the Andes through private ground transportation, and we will get to Chile, for 3 days and 2 nights.

We will get to visit the Casablanca wine region and Valparaiso,

But it's not just about the wine; I believe food is an integral part of any culture. That's why we'll take you on a culinary journey to hidden places that only a local would know, where you'll savor traditional cuisine paired with exquisite local wines. From cozy, family-run bodegas to charming wine estates, you'll enjoy exclusive food and drink experiences that will truly delight your senses.

I aim to create an intimate and personalized experience with a small group of passionate people about discovering new wine experiences. No pretentiousness here, just genuine hospitality and a warm embrace of Argentine culture.

Some details about me: I was born and raised in Mendoza, the world-famous wine region, and I studied business administration. I have traveled all around Argentina and I love wine, (I usually make wine in my garage, I  have some good winemaker friends, who help me with this).  I am a healthy and very active person. I practice martial arts, and I ride my bike, etc. I love the outdoors, wine, sharing experiences, and learning from new people.

I moved and lived for 12 years in Uruguay, where I started my wine tour business, perhaps missing the wine-related environment. I quickly began offering wine tours in these new regions I discovered and I was gladly surprised about the wine production in Colonia, Montevideo, and Punta del Este. I expanded my tours to Mendoza, Buenos Aires, and Chile, (Santiago and Valparaiso).

We had the best time visiting Uruguay! Andres was an incredible host and we felt like we were visiting family traveling around his city and country. Both wineries were mind-blowing with hospitality and delicious wine and charcuterie. The only thing I would change would be to have stayed overnight at a winery to continue the adventure! Thank you for the amazing experience and unforgettable memories!

Exceptional company—they planned a 3 day private wine tour for my friend and I that was absolute perfection. Strong communication, excellent staff, and amazing wineries. Strongly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting wineries in Mendoza!!

Our three-day tour with Borravino Wine Tours was the highlight of our Mendoza vacation. We came to Mendoza to visit wineries, to drink good wine and eat good food. And that is what we did. Damian and Marcelo at Borravino made it all possible. I began working Damian months in advance to organize three days that would explore the three regions of Mendoza. Damian eventually put together a perfect three days of winery visits. The wineries were mostly small to medium sized which allowed for more personalized tours and introduced us to winemakers and wines we would never have known about. If you want to go to the big commercial wineries, Borravino is probably not for you. These tours were with excellent local producers, almost all of whom do not have distribution in our home country. We hit three wineries each day and always ended with a good lunch at a winery pairing their wines with the food. Marcelo was our driver and guide and he was so great. He has perfect English, is very personable and fun and is a fount of knowledge about the area and the wineries. Damian and his team went above and beyond, also helping us out with currency conversion and airport transfer. If you are interested in exploring the wine region of Mendoza – this is the way to do it. Thank you, Borravino.

This is our second trip with Borravino Wine Tours. As with our previous tour in Mendoza, this one in the Casablanca Valley was well organized, with thoughtful stops at wonderful boutique vineyards. The drivers are always knowledgeable and pleasant. I recommend Borravino without reservation!

We had a great time. Our driver was on time and very friendly and knowledgeable. The wineries we went to were very nice and different from one another. Salentein is a state of the art winery, very elegant. Their prestación and wine tastings were very good. Then we hit a smaller winery Finca Adelma and the owner was there and came to greet us which was awesome and the third was Finca Don Carlos. The lunch was a 5 course one. Very good.
