About this trip

Step into a transformative retreat where movement becomes the language of the soul and rest is a pathway to joy.

Over the course of this immersive experience in the heart of Costa Rica, you will explore your body’s innate wisdom and develop your sensual intelligence through somatic movement, dance, breath, and yoga. You will be supported to attune with others through conscious movement, touch, and community circling, fostering deep connection and belonging within yourself and with others.

Discover the bottomless well of your creative energy by nourishing your breath, body, and spirit in joyful engagement and deep rest. Join us for 6 days and 5 nights in Atenas–the town National Geographic named the best climate in the world. In this serene environment, you'll awaken to a symphony of exotic birds, hike through lush jungle, swim in pristine waters, and visit the animal sanctuary. You’ll access local culture, enjoy organic nourishing food, and be met with the Costa Rican essence of "Pura Vida" - a joyful life of ease and simplicity.

This retreat is an invitation to rejuvenate your life's purpose and reconnect with the beauty of being fully alive in body, mind, and community. You will leave feeling deeply attuned to your inner voice, able to more authentically embody your essence, and connected to the pulse of spirit.

My experience on this retreat was profound. I give so much gratitude to Matthew, James, and Winter for the gifts, wisdom, guidance they shared and for the way they were able to hold space for the group. It was a deeply transformative and healing weekend for me. I felt incredibly safe to be vulnerable and to step out of my shell and explore myself and my relationship with others in ways I didn't think possible. I look forward to joining many more events where these wonderful facilitators/teachers will be teaching and sharing their gifts. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience! Much Love, Olesya

Beautifully led weekend retreat. I deeply appreciate James and Sarah for their kindness, patience and direction. It was a special group. I personally felt so amazed by the meditation, yoga, massage, music, and overall healing. It is difficult to sum up the power of this retreat into words. It took me a few days to integrate back to my day to day life. I am determined to keep the helpful weekend bits of wisdom with me as I continue to heal. Thank you for the wonderful retreat! Many blessings.

James and Sarah were very knowledgeable and wonderful teachers. The small size of the group made them very easy to talk to and question about the various sessions. A wonderfully diverse yoga retreat. And, Mount Madonna provided excellent support for the retreat.
