Settle into Stillness unites the healing power of conscious relaxation with sacred sound. Settle Into Stillness was founded by Jeremy Arndt and Nancy Grzeszak, whose paths converged in 2011, igniting a shared passion for yoga and music that would ultimately blossom into a transformative journey around the globe. Their mutual desire to spread peace, serenity, and self-discovery led them to create the Sound Journey, a magical fusion of music and mindfulness. Their musical journey has taken them together to 22 countries and 6 continents.

I cannot say enough positive things about this experience at the Sound Journey Summer School! I am a retreat leader myself, and stepping into the world of sound was new to me, and Jeremy, Nancy, Parker and Kimberly were absolutely incredible and caring instructors. They created a loving space that felt safe to learn in, and I learned SO MUCH! Their curriculum was broad and general enough for a newbie, but deep enough for those who needed more. Each facilitator gave individual attention to students in the group, and allowed us to experiment with instruments and concepts new to us. I would highly recommend this retreat!

Nancy and Jeremy are incredible teachers, musicians, and most importantly human beings. They both radiate with light and warmth. I would instantly feel at ease and peaceful around them. They created a judgement free environment where I was able to soar to new heights with instruments I was familiar with and quickly pick up instruments I was new to. I felt fully taken care of the entire trip. Parker is a phenomenal percussionist and is very kind/patient. Parker got everyone into the rhythm of the music and got everyone very comfortable with the beats. Kimberly is more than a vocal coach, she is sound healer. Kimberly brought this loving etheric element to the mix and allowed the freedom for people to find & express their voices. Nancy and Jeremy are true stewards of their land. There is a spring fed river running through their property with dozens of different types of birds flying about. You could feel the birds left safe there. The air is clean, the ground is soft, and the stars are bright there. You can just feel the love that they put into the land. It is magical. I left the retreat with an enhanced skill set, a deeper connection to music, a stronger bond with nature, an uplifted feeling of self, and a group of awesome new friends.

When I saw the post via social media, (FB), I felt drawn to sign up. I'm very happy that I said yes, to myself, to the offering. The entire four days of Sound Healing Summer School, exceeded all expectations. Each member/teacher, of the ensemble, is uniquely and artistically gifted. The wealth of experience, information and personally guided lessons, were tailored, to meet the needs of the group. Each of them gives from a heart centered and knowledgeable understanding and perspective. I cannot say enough about the quality of the overall experience. The location: beautiful, serene, on the Pentwater River. The land, so well cared for. The household, filled with loving attention to what matters. Accommodations: Excellent. I chose the luxury log cabin experience, but there were a variety of options available. The food: OH the chefs! Artists, in their own right. Delicious, organic and beautifully presented. Our host even went out of her way to rush out for the most awesome fresh sourdough bread! I'm so grateful that I was able to participate 💓.

This was a life changing experience. Nancy and Jeremy are wonderful hosts and teachers. It was a deeply restorative and transformational experience to spend so much time in nature, being supported by wonderful teachers, learning and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone in a safe environment. Everyone was so friendly, you felt free to open up and grow. The accommodations were nice and the food was great. It was nourishing from the inside out. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to enhance their understanding and love of music and collaborating with others.

Transformative Weekend Retreat: Yoga & Sound Healing Bliss I just returned from an incredible weekend retreat, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into a peaceful destination designed for relaxation, self-discovery, and healing. The daily yoga sessions were beautifully guided, and infused with mindfulness. Each class helped me deepen my practice, release tension, and reconnect with my body and breath. The instructor was not only knowledgeable but also created a nurturing space The highlight for me was the sound bowl healing sessions. The soothing vibrations of the bowls resonated deeply, melting away stress and allowing me to enter a meditative state unlike anything I’ve experienced before. It was a truly transformative and rejuvenating experience. Beyond the sessions, the retreat setting was stunning—serene nature, cozy accommodations, and nourishing meals that supported our journey toward wellness. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, ensuring a seamless blend of relaxation and growth. If you’re looking for a weekend to unwind, recharge, and immerse yourself in healing practices, this retreat is an absolute must. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and more in tune with myself. I will definitely be returning!
