Prepare for an unforgettable first day exploring Lomé Togo’s culturally rich and history packed capital with our multilingual guide. We'll also tour the historical National Museum and the grand Palais du Lomé. Experience the hustle & bustle of Lomé's biggest open market with a stop at the Sacred heart cathedral, one of the oldest german colonial roman catholic buildings.

Today we drive towards the Benin border, making stops at Agbodrafo, Togoville, and Aneho. In Agbodrafo, we will explore the House of Slaves, renowned for its colonial history and pivotal role in the transatlantic slave trade. Next, we'll head to Togoville, known as the home of Vodun in Togo and the Notre-Dame du Lac cathedral, offering insight into the country's cultural diversity. Finally, in Aneho, we will have lunch and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and its beaches.

Today's itinerary begins with a drive to Ouidah, a former slave trading post and birthplace of Voodoo. We will have an unforgettable visit to the Voodoo Museum, the Sacred Forest (Kpasse Forest), the Cathedral, and the Temple of the Pythons. We'll continue to the place of the common grave and the tree of forgetfulness before heading to the "Door of No Return," a memorial on the beach for the enslaved Africans taken from Ouidah.

Today, we dive into the rich and profound history of Benin’s capital, Porto-Novo, named by the Portuguese in the 1500s and still showing significant Portuguese influence, with a stop at Ajarra. We’ll start with a visit to the Musee de Grande Afrique and the Great Mosque of Porto-Novo. Continuing our day with a serene canoe ride on the Black River, we immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of surrounding palm plantation. In Ajarra, we will learn the elaborate art of basket weaving from a local family, additionally we will participate in the making of alcohol using  traditional methods, and see firsthand how Benin’s iconic drums are crafted, all of these providing a deep insight into the country’s rich cultural heritage.

We will spend the day at the climax of the Voodoo Festival in Ouidah. Here will experience vibrant masquerade dancing, traditional food, and captivating cultural displays, history and celebration immersing ourselves in the lively atmosphere as the locals celebrate with colorful costumes, rhythmic drumming, and age-old rituals. 

We head out today for an unforgettable tour of Ganvie and Cotonou! We‘ll begin our adventure in Ganvie, the largest community built on stilts in West Africa, where you'll explore the village by boat, fish farms, small floating markets and witnessing the unique way of life of the Tofinu people. Then, we’ll head to the port city of Cotonou, where you'll be visiting the largest bustling market, the Amazon statue, which a symbol of strength and freedom and explore the vibrant art scene with the longest mural wall, showcasing stunning local artwork.  Additionally, we’ll experience a serene boat ride through the Adounko River mangrove, surrounded by lush landscapes. 

Today we will unwind with a relaxing beach day. Soak up the sun, stroll along the sandy shores of Cotonou, and take a refreshing dip in the ocean. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views, perfect for recharging.
