About Us ~ Felicity Odell + Adriana Gonzalez + Lori Lopez

Felicity Odell~A woman on a life-long journey in purpose & joy ~

As a consummate seeker, drawn to new experiences, places and people. Naturally a physical person since childhood as a swimmer, ice skater, marathon runner and yogi.  Vitality through movement isn’t a choice for Felicity, it is a must.

A mother of three and soon to be grandmother with a life filled with old and new friends.   Driven by curiosity: What makes a person smile? Why does Troncones feel like home? Felicity believes life is not mono-focused on good and bad, rather life is full of collective experiences that all contribute to who we are and who we will be. Let life be your greatest teacher.

Felicity's journey with Yoga began in her twenties and activated deeply in her 40s. She was called to teach and in her exploration found an endless pool of discovery and teachings bound by a practice, called yoga. Her yoga teaching journey began with a 200-hour teacher training through Corepower Yoga, based on the Baron Baptiste Method, followed with yoga sculpt trainings, Yoga 6 teacher education.  Felicity is also certified in the Prison Yoga Project Training, focusing on trauma-informed, mindfulness based yoga and brings yoga to incarcerated people around the world. Felicity, as a consummate seeker continues to study + learn the depth of knowledge and gifts yoga offers.

Felicity has been told by many that she looks familiar and many are drawn to her energy. She does not consciously think about herself in this way, though she is grateful for these energetic attractions. She does not take herself too seriously and wants to have FUN, creating experiences for all to feel welcomed, challenged and inspired to unfold the physical, spiritual and emotional gifts within. Felicity believes everyone is singular and on a journey to find and shine their individual light and when teaching she sees a collection of individual shining lights, all seeking connection within, to the world and with one another in community practice. Her teaching style is grounded in service, serving through action and engagement in every sequence of classes. She serves through humor, vulnerability, accessibility and kindness.

Felicity discovered Troncones in 2019 and is blessed to teacher yoga at Present Moment & Radiant Heart studios in town. She leads small group retreats and is very familiar with Troncones the surrounding areas and shares her love for this magical place.

Felicity lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She teaches Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt, Restorative and Yoga Nidra in the Bay Area and Troncones, Mexico.

Adriana Gonzalez~  an ordained Minister of Walking Prayer, A Healer, Acupuncture Detox Specialist, and Yogini.

Adriana facilitates medicine ceremonies, yoga, sound healing, and offers acupuncture and healing sessions.  Her ministry is inclusive, with a focus on indigenous wisdom traditions. She  birthed Radiant Heart Yoga & Ceremonial Arts in 2013, and began to work in private homes and healing/yoga centers.  In 2018 she was able to build a platform and open doors to the Radiant Heart Yoga & Ceremonial Arts studio.

Adriana is a dual citizen of Mexico and the USA. Her parents immigrated to the US from Mexico and grew up in a neighborhood of immigrants, refugees, and African American families in Houston, Texas.  As a child growing up in a community struggling to accept a new wave of migrants, Adriana experienced rampant personal and institutionalized racism.

At 18 she enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, where she began her journey to dissolve this false reality so prevalent in America and begin her healing from years of internalized racism.  She received degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Ethnic Studies, and was politically conscious, working in social justice.

Adriana works with the most marginalized population in America~ undocumented citizens, the homeless, and incarcerated youth with disabilities.   A career in social justice law was redirected by an acute episode of spiritual awakening-  an initiation of Spirit. After leaving her career behind in Austin, Adriana began participating in sweat lodge and medicine ceremonies before going back to school to become a minister, yoga instructor, and healer.  Years of intensive practice and calling for a vision brought in Radiant Heart Yoga & Ceremonial Arts.

As a bi-cultural woman of color in America, Adriana decided that the best way to access and remember her lineage and traditions was to return to her ancestral homeland of Mexico.  There, she found a home for Radiant Heart Yoga, and developed it as a space for healing and transformative personal and collective work, set in a small and peaceful town on the southern Pacific coast of Mexico.

Lori Lopez~has a profound passion for yoga that stems from a life-changing experiences.

Lori is a dedicated 1008 RYS Bhakti instructor. Lori's journey to wellness began when her doctor recommended yoga. Despite facing challenges like a knee replacement and heart attacks, Lori's determination led her to shed 190 pounds and embrace yoga as a transformative practice. With a deep understanding of the struggles of starting or returning to yoga, Lori's journey resonates with her students as she guides them on the mat. Her light shines bright as she inspires others to embark on their own yoga journey. In addition to her yoga expertise, Lori has studied Ayurveda for 4 years and has undergone 5 years of anatomy training. These additional areas of knowledge enrich her practice and teaching, allowing her to offer a holistic approach to wellness.

Lori has been married to her best friend Steve for the last 48 years. Together they have three children, 11 grandshildren and 5 great

grand children.  Communication is key to her lasting relationship. She loves to kayak, hike, four-wheel and bike on her eBike. Lori and Steve can be found traveling around in their motorhome with lifelomg friends and family. Lori's experience, resilience, and commitment to yoga make her a special inspiration yoga instructor for those seeking balance and well-being. Lori can be found teaching yoga classes at Yoga Six in Brentwood, California.

I had an amazing time and experience at the retreat Felicity and Kristen curated. From every careful detail prior to leaving to departing, these women took care of everything and blessed us all with their grace and wisdom. I so enjoyed the meditation and yoga sessions; I am encouraged to continue with my practice and lean into my overall wellbeing. The accommodations were spectacular, and the food and service of the staff was like being at a 5 start resort. Loved all of it. MEW

Second year in a row for me and there will be more. Well-planned, excellent leaders, idyllic location, beautiful accommodations, fabulous food and service. A temescal ceremony was added this year, which was a great addition. Felicity is a fantastic, charismatic, calm and positive trip leader and yoga instructor. She knows the area and community well, is calm under pressure, and well-respected in town. Aside from providing inspiring themes each day, journal prompts, and great yoga, Felicity is also able to set up just about anything you want to do or need to get. Adrianna is a true shaman in spirit, heart and knowledge and brings her gifts in the forms of restorative yoga, homemade cacao, and various traditional teachings and ceremonies. The surfing is great due to the location near a perfect longboarding break. The surf instructors make it easy to get out to the break, stand up and catch good waves. I've surfed a bit before, but definitely take advantage of the letting the instructors read the breaks and give my board a little extra push to ensure I catch the waves. The surf location also has fantastic open air restaurants along the beach for a post-beach lunch and beer (or tequila...). Finally, the resort has very talented and trained masseuses who offer varying types of treatments and massages. There are also other very good spa service providers nearby to round out a fabulous week of self care and bliss.

This retreat was a fantastic combination of fun activities (e.g. surfing, sweat lodge visit, cacao ceremony), paired with contemplative time (yoga, meditation) in a spectacular location on the ocean in Troncones. Felicity did an amazing job providing diverse experiences with a flexible, supportive attitude; she's also a wonderful yoga teacher. Adriana added a lovely spiritual influence with her expertise in yoga and indigenous ceremonies. Such a delicious time!! Highly recommend.

This was my first trip to Mexico and my first international travel since 2019 and I feel really lucky to have experienced this part of the country thru the weeklong retreat hosted by Felicity and Adriana at Present Moment. Felicity invited a balance of activities and open time for participants, and her knowledge of the area made me feel really comfortable. It also helped people fill our open time with different kinds of activities available in the area - from getting nails done to connecting with local animal welfare volunteers, to surfing, biking, and other adventures. Adriana has a warm energy and her sessions were very restorative. The location and accommodations themselves are beautiful. The staff at the retreat were kind and the kitchen staff at the restaurant were very talented, creating delicious food and drinks every day.

In the spring of 2022, I attended Felicity's yoga retreat at Present Moment in Troncones, Mexico. It was a life changing experience! Felicity is an incredible yoga teacher and I attended her class every morning at daybreak. She organized other activities for our group including surfing lessons, beach horseback riding, massage, and a baby turtle release. The vibe of the hotel was relaxing, the food and drinks were outstanding, the rooms charming, and the friendly staff catered to the guests' every whim. Felicity was always available for questions as well as feedback as to what could make the retreat better, and she made our whole group so comfortable. I have vacationed all over the world, and this wellness retreat is a must do; I cannot recommend it highly enough. Can't wait to go back! Thank you, Felicity!
