About Your Host

Sarah began practicing yoga in 2006 while expecting her first daughter. That initial experience of self love and fully being present in her body was truly profound! Since then she has found that a practice guided by my intuition and the principals of the 8 limb path of yoga provides a deeper understanding of the inner self.  Sarah continues to practice and teach because "Yoga gives you permission to be yourself, uncovered, and beautifully raw.  I love the honesty of the yoga practice and how it demands self acceptance, which is truly the heart of this practice."

As a Yoga Teacher Sarah has been teaching yoga since summer of 2015, gaining 200 hour certification in 2016 from Moksha Yoga in Chicago, completing the program with more than 700 hours of training. Training with yoga masters like Gary Kraftsow and Aadil Palkhivala.  Sarah's mission as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher is to help make the world of yoga more accessible to all students through classes, retreats and YACEP workshops.  Showing students this is a practice to access the language of the heart.

I really enjoyed the yoga, Sarah is amazing in her cues. The pace was perfect and I felt it was a whole body experience. Samantha’s sound session was calming even for me, a person who has a hard time sitting still. But it was nice that she understood that I did have to move from time to time. My only letdown was that I wish the hike was a little longer.

We had a great time and met wonderful people. Sarah and Samatha were the best. They took care of our every need and were very knowledgeable about their modalities: Yoga, Reiki, Sound Baths, etc. The trip was so much fun, especially loved the campfires. :-)

Really wonderful yoga and sound healing and food. Sarah and Samantha worked well together to facilitate a positive experience overall. Unfortunately the venue didn’t have quite enough space for everyone to spread out and have space in the yoga practices so it felt a bit cramped. People were kind. I wish there was more time for quiet contemplation/reflection but with a large group it’s tricky! Grateful to have been part of this retreat.

I’m so very glad I was able to go on this Olympic Washington retreat. It was my first trip to Washington. Our accommodations were spectacular our very own house that sat on several acres with a trail that led to a labyrinth. The food was nourishing and delicious. The activities were well planned and Sarah was there every step of the way to offer encouragement and cheerleading. The yoga and meditation were rejuvenating and restorative. I would recommend if you haven’t been on one of her retreats GO!
