Weather in January
About the only problem with traveling to Vietnam in January for golf is you might encounter a bit of rain along the central coast. But what you can count on there are temperatures in the 70s. In the south, get ready for highs in the 80s. In other words, January is great for golf — and sightseeing.

Itinerary
Fly into Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) and, if arriving in the morning, enjoying a leisurely day getting acclimated to the time change. If arriving in the evening (most likely), get a good night's rest so you're ready to explore Vietnam's most dynamic city the next day.
