After finishing program, we enjoy a beautiful buffet style lunch at the restaurant – overlooking the Mekong river.

Fantastic day. We were extremely well looked after and really enjoyed seeing Kuang Si Falls and Pak Ou Caves. It’s always a bit scary booking a tour on the internet with a company half a world away, but we needn’t have worried

We had a great time. The instructor was very kind, explaining how to ride the elephant in detail before we rode. During the ride, the staff took a lot of pictures using one of our cameras, which was also very nice. After the ride, we had a buffet lunch, which was also very nice and tasty. I hope our participation fee will support elephant conservation. I heard from the instructor that he has spent 8 years already taking care of elephants, and his efforts have made elephants live longer in safe environments. For the tour, I recommend wearing swimsuits under the rented garments as we go into the river on the elephant. The only problem with this tour was that we did not have a Japanese guide, though we had reserved a Japanese tour. We were OK, but if you really want to have a Japanese guide, you should make sure when you book.

We had a great trip. At Kuang Si Waterfalls, we had about two hours to spend, which was enough time to go up to the waterfalls and then to the top tree cafe. We went down from the top by zip line that was so much fun!

We enjoyed the lunch buffet, feeding the elephant, kayaking down the river, and then a sunset boat ride back to Luang Prabang. A great way to spend a warm day!
