Available Add-Ons

Lobuche East Add On
$1,599

Summit a 20,000+ foot glaciated peak!  This non-technical climb requires crampons, harness, helmet, and jumar (ascender) which you can rent or bring.  It’s ok for those without any fixed line or glacier experience.
Lobuche East towers above the village of Lobuche, one of our stops near EBC. For this excursion we’ll sleep in Lobuche the evening we depart from EBC. Up early the next morning, we climb to Lobuche East camp and have a rustic tent camp for the night. We’ll be up early in the morning so we can ascend the glacier while it is coldest, arriving there as the sun comes up. It’s only a few hundred meters in fixed lines to narrow summit ridge, you may even have a small crevasse to cross. Then back down to camp, where we pack up and descend to Lobuche for a well earned night of rest. We could continue down to Namche the next day and follow the EBC trek itinerary from there.

You'll have a certified mountain guide for this optional climb, as Tim will continue with the EBC group on their trek back to Lukla.

With 2 climbers selecting this add-on, the trip is confirmed!

DASH Adventures fleece beanie hat
$30

Custom embroidered DASH Adventures hat, the same kind worn by all DASH Adventures trip leaders!  Dark blue, one size fits all.  Large enough to pull down over your eyes for good sleeping, soft and comfortable for all-day wear.  Just light enough to wear under a climbing helmet.  Front has the DASH Adventures logo, and the back is our company motto in white, glow-in-the-dark thread. Tim will have your hats ready in Kathmandu.

DASH Adventures Porter Bag
$40

During the EBC trek you'll carry a small daypack, while your porter carries all of your other gear from teahouse to teahouse.  Our custom bags are just the right size for your maximum 15kg of gear, highly water resistant, and inexpensive compared to other brands.  Royal blue, approximately 80 liters, with zippers under the top cover for keeping small items secured.  You'll pick up the bag from Expedition Himalaya in Kathmandu.

If you want a total immersion into Peru, this trip is the real deal. We had it all - quaint inns, great food, off the beaten path hiking to Incan ruins, village stops for chicha, history lessons with flair, waterfalls, painted mountains, salt mines, chocolate, tours, trains, coffee, shopping with a special price for you, baby llamas, dancing, and did I mention the dogs?!?! Hats off to trip leader Tim Manning and owners Dave and Shelley for another magical DASH adventure!!

Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley was a spectacular trip run by true professionals. I really appreciated the trip leader's experience and insight into the history and culture of the country and region. We got to experience the 'Real Peru' and see locals in their natural state, not just the tourist centers. This was our second Dash Adventures trip, and there will be many more!! Thanks again!

Peru 2025: Tim IS the Peru guru; his love for the country and its history and culture shown through daily. He organized and guided a wonderful adventure that was the perfect balance of trekking, history, and culture with sites, shopping, and eating peppered in at just the right moments. His commentary was invaluable - informative and entertaining. The good vibe that Dash Adventures is creating was in full effect among this great group of adventurers, who’ve now become friends. (P.S. We may or may not have used air swords at Sacsayhuamán - ha ha. Gotta love it - keeping ourselves youthful!! #DashAdventuresIsBetterThanBotox)

Ecuador 2024: Dash Adventures organized yet another amazing trekking adventure with amazing people in Ecuador, a beautiful - and underrated - country. I am so grateful for the community and vibe that they are creating - and for constantly demonstrating how to go with the flow.

Dash Adventures made this trekking trip through Ecuador an unforgettable experience. The itinerary included breathtaking hikes, relaxing moments, and stays at unique, charming haciendas. The guides were not only knowledgeable and supportive but also made everyone feel safe, included, & like part of a family. If you’re looking for a guided trek that combines adventure, culture, and camaraderie, I highly recommend Dash Adventures!
