Welcome to the 1st Women’s Jiu Jitsu Conference ever. As women, we are consistently breaking down ceilings and busting through barriers, and this weekend is no different. The amount of empowerment, knowledge, skill acquisition, connections, memories and laughs will be a challenge to measure. This event is so special, because it seeks to authentically reach all women who train Jiu jitsu in some way, shape or form.
Some of the best female instructors in the world will be brought in to teach Jiu Jitsu, lead workshops, motivate and inspire you, participate in pro-training sessions and network alongside you on the mats.
The morning portion will be Jiu Jitsu focused with seminar and training sessions, followed by a 2 hour break. The afternoon portion will be dedicated to the workshop topics. Each camper’s registration will include a conference notebook. Campers will have personal access to the instructors of all workshops.
The event is being hosted at the following Sports Campus in BAYTOWN, TEXAS.

Is this Conference for all skill levels?
Yes, from white to black you will find the Conference of benefit. From workshop topics to training sessions there will be something for everyone.
What are the Pro-Training Sessions?
Feedback from various camps has revealed that higher belt levels and competitors shy away from camps because they miss out on their usual intense training, ladies don’t roll enough, or that they paid to learn from instructors that they don’t actually get to roll with. The instructors will be leading this intense section and are being paid to roll with you. You will not be able to leave the camp and say you did not get enough rolling. Simultaneously, the second mat area will be running a more casual Open mat, where people can roll, drill, mingle or what have you. Both mats are available for you to sit and take notes.
What are the ages allowed to come to the conference?
Participants must be at least 13 years old. The conference includes a youth-led workshop and a session on longevity in BJJ for practitioners over 40. We welcome attendees of all ages, including women in their 60s and beyond.
Will there be merchandise I can buy, or services at camp?
Yes, we have multiple vendors and services on site.
If I don’t know anyone going should I still join?
Yes! All the more reason! Grappling Getaways is known for making connections to people who become life long friends and supporters. We foster such a warm and welcoming environment, that you will feel right at home from day 1. We strongly encourage you to read our reviews to see that they back this claim.
What if I can only stay part of the camp?
You can stay as long or as little as you like. Participate in as much or as little as you like. There are no options for 1 or 2 days, the camp prices stay the same regardless of how much you can partake
What is one of the best reasons I should come to this conference?
This conference is an investment in yourself, on all levels. This is continuing education, professional development, networking, personal fulfillment, community, belonging and a lot of laughs all bundled up into a weekend that will become a core memory in your Jiu Jitsu Journey.
