About this trip
Begins and ends in Seattle, Washington. The tour also includes Victoria, British Columbia.
We will explore private gardens galore, the San Juan Islands, a whale watch cruise, world-famous Butchart Gardens, a private tour of Heronswood, Hatley Castle Gardens, lavender fields, the charming town of Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, Seattle Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens and Glass plus much more!
An optional 2-day extension includes Mount Rainier National Park and its glorious wildflowers. We will have time to hike to the snowline or stay lower and enjoy the waterfalls along the trail. We will spend the first night in the historic Paradise Lodge at the base of Mount Rainier.
Planned and managed by Lois Moss, an expert in Pacific NW gardens. Escorted by Kathy Lindroth, tour specialist for Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut. This is a custom tour, completely curated for FGCCT.
Because we will be going into Canada, all participants are required to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the tour.

Our first hotel is the lovely Cedarbrook Lodge and Spa. It is near Seattle airport, yet is an oasis of calm and relaxation. Pricing is per person in a Shared room, including taxes but excluding breakfast.

While visiting the San Juan Islands, we plan on chartering a whale watch cruise boat that holds 16 people. For anyone who prefers an on-land afternoon instead, we will have an easy guided hike to Cattle Point and American Camp. If know now that you prefer the on-land, please check the box
