You know you're stressed. But do you know that stress doesn't have to be a destructive force in your life? You can transform your toxic stress –that hurts your productivity, your health, your ability to connect, and your quality of life– into a well-managed superpower. Designed for high-powered female professionals, this retreat will give you everything you need to build stress resilience.
In the process, you’ll learn how to thrive in your career AND bloom in your life beyond the work day.
And while this is a working retreat, we will have FUN. Building stress resilience is enjoyable, especially the way we do it – in a group of ambitious, mindful, and adventurous women at Waves and Wifi in Popoyo, Nicaragua.
Despite its place on a pedestal in modern work culture, science tells us that stress isn’t helping us work better. In fact, unchecked stress makes us sicker, slower, and more isolated.
Among its many gifts, building stress resilience gives you deeper focus, sustained energy, the powerful ability to perform your best under high pressure, and better health, and (!!) more time and energy outside of work for the things and people that matter in your sweet life.
Because the central goal of this retreat is to support you in building stress resilience, this is a working retreat. You’ll continue your work rhythms (with 7 hours of dedicated work time per day) so that you’re developing new skills and habits in an environment that is relatively similar to your daily workflow.
As you build stress resilience, you'll be supported in both the group and 1:1 setting. Each lunch-time break will feature a workshop. Over the course of the week, you'll develop an empowered understanding of stress in the body, your personal relationship with stress, and build a toolkit for simple, practical techniques for stress management.
You'll also meet 1:1 with Catherine for a stress resilience strategy session to create your plan designed for your personal goals, your specific stressors, your job, and your daily flow.
Of course, while on retreat, you'll enjoy the best features of a more traditional wellness retreat. These elements also support you in building stress resilience!
• Morning yoga (In open air shala with ocean views)
• Time in nature (Beautiful tropical beach just steps away)
• Delicious, nourishing, chef-prepared food (Supporting your sparkling vitality)
• A surf lesson (Surfing is one of the greatest stress-resilience building sports!)
• Massage (A favorite stress-buster)
• Ice bath (Optional but highly encouraged ☺)
At the end of the retreat, you'll arrive home feeling deeply rejuvenated, your wellness cup overflowing, ready to take on your biggest challenges with more confidence and more ease.
As you integrate into daily life, you'll be supported and inspired by your new community of new female friends who understand your challenges and share your ambitions.
The retreat includes three months of group calls to help keep you accountable and to support you as you continue to build stress resilience. Your new community and Catherine will be there to both encourage you through challenges AND celebrate your wins alongside you.
We designed this retreat for high-powered professionals. If you see yourself in the description below, it’s a fit! We’d love to have you on retreat. If you have any questions about the fit, get in touch with Catherine at catherine@wellallday.com – she’ll be excited to chat!
