Bringing our awareness back to nature lies at the heart of our happiness and of the well-being of all life on Earth. —Claire Thompson
This retreat will be led by Jeannine Wonderling, current student of the Forest Therapy Certification Program, The Forest Therapy School
During a forest bathing walk, the guide will offer participants a slow-paced, mindful walk experience to open the senses through a series of nature-connected invitations. Once participants shift from the cognitive thinking mind to an embodied experience, they can connect to the natural world in an authentic and knowing way. The invitations are open-ended. There is no expectation for how to participate or what you experience or receive. The intention is not to escape, but rather to stay present and mindful with what is happening in this moment. Forest therapy, approached with an attitude of mindfulness, creates a potentially powerful stage for the work of reconnection, a bridge that links our inner nature to the rest of nature. It awakens our senses, opens our hearts, and serves as an invitation to feel our aliveness in any moment.
You are connected to the Earth. The Earth is connected to you.
Retreat times are 1pm to 3pm.
