We had a great time with father Anthony and great food. 10/9/24: I was not happy with the tour guide lady Maria del Salgrado (aka: Charro ) she was unfair. She didn’t take us to the Colosseum of Rome which was part of the itinerary to walk outside of the monument. She only took about 9 young people to the Colosseum. She never announced it on the microphone inside the bus. The rest of the group were left at the Basilica of Rome then they took off with her to the Colosseum while we were having mass. The moment I found out she took them I pulled her to the side and asked her if was going to take us to the Colosseum and she no because we didn’t have time. I told why did take the young group she didn’t know what to say. I told she’s discriminating the elderly people and that wasn’t correct what she did (I had a discussion with what she did wrong). That was very unprofessional and then she went to tell the young group what happened. This was part of the itinerary to walk around outside of the Colosseum of Rome. She didn’t allowed us to take pictures at the Trevi Fountain which I mentioned to her and she said we didn’t have time. She made us walk so much made us to rush all the time. In our group we had many people were elderly / using a cane/ couldn’t walk too fast like her. If she doesn’t have patience with certain age of group people she select a much younger age of people. This has been my 3rd pilgrimage trip and I wasn’t happy how it was followed through the itinerary by her. It really hurts me not take pictures with the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum which they’re famous icons of Rome, Italy. On that day I wanted to come home. Well, she had no choice to continue with our group and go with the flow to end of our trip. I paid a lot money not view everything that was on the itinerary. I did my best to have fun with mom and everyone else to the end of the trip. Father Anthony (he gets 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟) made it fun - he was very professional. After this experience, I will take break before I take another long trip.

Pros. We had a great time; we were able to witness some great sites and places. And was able to witness some breath-taking architect structures. The accommodations were good, and the food was decent. Overall, we enjoyed it and had a good time. Cons. One of the most complains on the bus was there some older seniors that need to used restroom facilities and had to hold it while the bus restroom was kept lock!

It was okay. A bit rushed at times.

Seemed more of a touristy trip than a pilgrimage at times. Food was great ; felt rushed at some of the glorious churches..

I have nothing to compare this trip to. I enjoyed the trip. We covered a lot of territory. Therfore long bus rides and lots of different hotels. The but ride was very comfortable. 60 people was a lot of people to keep up with. Not sure about another trip with that many people. Saw lots of beautiful churches. I would have liked to have had a better itinerary of where we would be each day and the location/hotel for each night. The guides were very informative and I enjoyed them, they were easy to listen to with the headset. The journey to get there and back was extremely long and hard. Not sure the hotels were all 3 and 4 star hotels.
