Come join us for the (only!) 2024 Open Invite Ladies Summer Trip!

This summer, we will return to the scene of the first summer trip that we ever hosted: Chateau Les Carrasses in Southern France. We will meet in Paris and train down together on the first day. Our days there will be a great mix of culture, relaxing and making new friends.

This chateau is a dream- we will be sharing villas within the main property. All spots for this trip are for shared rooms, but you’ll have your own bed.

Coming with a friend? Great! Just let us know and we’ll put you together. Coming solo?. Amazing. You‘ll be in good company. That’s a big part of the fun of an Open Invite Trip!

Day 1
Day 1
Paris. + Arrival to Chateau Les Carrasses
Today, we will meet in Paris at Gare du Lyon around 1pm (exact time TBD). We will meet in the station and you’ll receive a train ticket to Beziers.

Once we are all there, we will load up and head out.

Bring some snacks to share, your favourite podcast loaded up, or be ready to chat with your seatmate. (Or maybe do a little of it all- we have about 3 hours on the train.)

Upon arrival to Beziers, we will have a private coach take us to our new home for the week: Chateau Les Carrasses, near Capestang.

Once there, you’ll get access to your room, have time to get get settled in and then explore the gorgeous property grounds.

Tonight, we will have a welcome drinks and dinner served on the gorgeous terrace nestled among the vineyards.

Afterwards, feel free to stay up and chat or head to bed after a long travel day!

Capestang & Narbonne
Breakfast at chateau, served at your leisure

9:30 | Yoga in the garden, led by Mandy Froelich (optional)

If you’d like to go into the nearby village this morning, transportation will be available. You can wander the tiny streets of this picturesque French village of Capestang, sit in the main square and hear church bells chime as you have a coffee, or grab a sandwich from the boulangerie for your lunch. Lunch today is on your own.

Feel free to enjoy lunch at the chateau’s terrace restaurant or eat something in your villa.

4:00pm | Depart as a group for Narboone

Free time to explore the town and then have dinner on your own in town

Day 3
Roquebrun
Breakfast, at your leisure, served by the chateau

09:30 | Yoga session led by Mandy Froelich in the garden (optional)

11:00 | Depart for Roquebrun

Lunch and swimming by the river.

This is a magical little town with a river that runs along it. The banks are a great place to relax and you can wade into the warm water.

15:00 | Depart for Cave Roquebrun for tastings (optional)

Return back to Roquebrun for small group dinners

The small group dinner night is a fun tradition. You’ll be arranged into smaller groups, provided with a booking for a nice dinner in town, and then we pick up the tab. It’s a great way to get some good conversations with other guests on the trip in a meaningful way.

Later that evening, at Chateau Les Carrasses, its BYOBingo on the terrace.

Change into your comfy clothes, bring a bottle of something you love to drink, and come out for some late night fun with a few rounds of Bingo. Prizes to be won!

Chateau Day
Breakfast at the chateau, at your preferred wake-up time.

09:30 | Yoga in the garden (optional)

This morning, relax with painting in the garden, a fun tennis doubles tournament, riding bikes on a path along the property to Canal St Midi or by the pool!

Lunch is on your own today.

Grab something from the hotel restaurant or make something in your own villa.

This afternoon, meet us poolside for a dip, or have the front desk arrange a taxi to take you into town for a little escape into French village life.

07:00 | Barbie-cue

We’ll have a Barbie-cue under the twinkling lights of the private garden tonight. Dress are your favourite version of Barbie. Travel Barbie? Beach Party Barbie? Doctor Barbie? Pagent Barbie? Or whatever version you can surprise us with- we can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with for this!

Markets & Picnics
Breakfast this morning at the chateau.

10:00 | Depart for a local morning spent at the weekly market in a nearby village.

Shop the market- with pleasure and a task!

Everyone will have a little errand to run in the market and something to buy for tonight’s dinner. You’ll be given the item name, quantity and some spending money. Your job is to find it within the market today.

Lunch on your own in town

Grab something simple from the boulangerie to enjoy under the shade of a tree, or sit outside at one of the cute cafes and enjoy something off their menu.

02:30pm | Depart for Chateau.

Afternoon to swim, relax, finish the tennis tournament or paint

07:00pm | The Posh Picnic!

Tonight, we’ll dine under the trees in a massive picnic with all our market treasures,

Afterwards, opt-in (or out!) to a short round of silly games and trivia.

Pink Party & Farewell
Today, enjoy breakfast in the chateau. (You’ll be a pro at piling up those croissants, by now!)

This morning, take the optional trip into Quarante for a wander through town, or stay back and relax at the chateau with a bike ride, wine tasting, tennis, or pool time.

Lunch is on your own today- either in town, at the chateau restaurant or in your own villa.

This afternoon, spend a few minutes to pack up your bags before our dinner and early start tomorrow!

Dinner this evening is our Pink Party!

Dress in your best pink for our Farewell Dinner tonight on the terrace.

Paris & Goodbyes
This morning, we’ll have an early start!

07:30 | Breakfast and hotel check-out before we head to the train station at Beziers.

08:30 | Depart for Beziers

09:45 | Train to Paris

Please note: times are approximate at we are still waiting for official times for our tickets

Please note that we will be back to Paris a bit after lunch time, so any future travel plans should expect an arrival to Paris around 1pm.

INSANE trip around the Amalfi Coast ~ It was an absolute DREAM. The only reason that I was able to take advantage of this incredible opportunity was because of Lauren + her team! I've done multiple of these trips over the past few years, and I just couldn't recommend them more. Extremely grateful.

I highly recommend Open Invite Trips if you are looking for a getaway where everything is organised for you. Travelling solo, nervous butterflies set in just before I met the group but they soon vanished as everyone was so welcoming. Accommodation was stunning. Day trips & activities were lots of fun. All in all, the trip was very relaxing & just what I needed. Thank you!

What a perfect family vacation! We've taken our 3 kids (9yo, 8yo, and 5yo) to Europe before and this was by far our favorite family vacation to date. So great to have other kids to play with in such gorgeous settings and culture. This wasn't just a family trip, it was an actual vacation for all. Open Invite trips did a fantastic job planning and communicating and also keeping things fun and relaxing and not too scheduled. I hesitate to write such a glowing review because I don't want future trips to sell out! We'll see you again. Thank you!
