Our retreat is designed to provide you with a holistic experience that promotes relaxation, self-discovery, and wellness during this magical 8-day/7-night stay with your new "chosen family." ABOUT MIXTO & THE EXPERIENCE:
Our retreat will be hosted at MIXTO located at the south shore of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. MIXTO is a private 6 room villa located in the Mexican fishing village Quimixto. MIXTO is right on the doorstep of a gorgeous beach and offers an unparalleled retreat experience. After landing in Puerto Vallarta you'll be shuttled to the Marina. From there you'll take a breathtaking 45-minute river boat ride to the picturesque Quimixto where you'll find MIXTO; a tropical oasis nestled in the heart of this authentic and charming village. MIXTO offers elegant eco-chic accommodations, wellness focused amenities, and the opportunity to reconnect to self and to nature. All rooms are enclosed with walls and windows, Air conditioning, WiFi, Power Outlets, Top-end beds with memory foam mattresses and luxury linen, Ocean and pool views, hot water showers, local organic shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Additionally, there's little to no stairs; so no intense climbing to get around the property.
You'll also enjoy three delicious, healthy, and organic meals, prepared fresh daily by the staff. Movement and Yoga will be practiced in the open air Yoga Studio which is a functional movement space. Daily workshops will take place poolside. There will be ample amounts of free time to relax by the pool, layout or walk along the beach, read, and/or hike the jungle trails.
*Spa/Massage Treatments are available at personal request however Spa/Massage Treatments are not included in FREEDOM 2026 Wellness Retreat package. Exclusive Excursions(such as Whale Watching and Swimming with Dolphins) are available at personal request however are not included in FREEDOM 2026 Wellness Retreat package. Cancellations made 90 days or more, prior to arrival date,
will receive a 50% refund of the balance paid.

*PLEASE NOTE: There are no Single Room Bookings available for this retreat. The price listed for each reservation is Per Person. The Standard Beach room can accommodate 2 to 3 guests, with the option of either 1 king bed and 1 single bed or 3 single beds. As for our penthouse, it can host 3 to 4 guests, offering configurations of 1 king bed and 2 twin beds or 4 twin beds. Please be conscious of the rooming option you choose and make sure you know the people you're rooming with. About Your Retreat Leader
Cornelius Jones Jr. (E-RYT 200/AWC/M.A./AEA/SAG-AFTRA) is founder and creator of YogaBurn, Inc/YogaBurn and specializes in Vinyasa yoga, Power Yoga, and Barre Fitness. He has led numerous yoga teacher trainings, curated many yoga/fitness hybrid classes, and coached yoga teachers in how to sustain their voices while teaching. He is a gifted performance artist, and has danced and sung on Broadway and in theaters across the USA and internationally. In addition, Cornelius is an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, a published author, and works independently in the field of addiction and recovery as a Creative Arts & Healing Facilitator. Cornelius' confident style and motivating encouragement is a voice to uplift and inspire.
