Visit the beautiful Anton Valley in Panama, a charming tourist destination that offers a variety of attractions and activities to enjoy. Our guide will collect you at 8:00 am from your resort and drive for about 1 hour up to Anton Valley a charming tourist destination surrounded by the mountains of the Gaital Volcano.

First, we will visit the new visitor center, where you can learn about the history, culture and natural environment. Here, visitors can interact with educational exhibits, and watch a short film celebrating the local landscape.

Then, we will visit the Nispero Zoo and Botanical Garden, created in 1978, it opened its doors to the public in 88. It has 94 species of animals and a great variety of native and exotic plants. Among the most important are the jaguar, macaws, deer, and ostrich, among others.

Our guide will take you to the Butterfly Haven, created by American Jon Owens. It consists of a House of Flying with hundreds of beautiful tropical butterflies and an educational station.

Time for a little walk at the Cerro Macho where there is a waterfall is located 1.2 miles and is one of Anton Valley’s most accessible hikes, a round-trip walk that takes 30 minutes at a leisurely pace.

We will take a break for lunch and our guide will suggest some of the local restaurants.

​

Finally, we will visit the local public market where you can find handmade crafts, souvenirs, and fruits.

​

We will head back to your resort and will be there around 3:45 pm.
