About this trip

This two-day private tour of Yucatán offers a journey through the region’s most iconic Mayan architecture, magic towns, and emblematic cultural sites.

You will be amazed by the grandeur of ancient Maya cities like Chichen Itza, Coba, and Ek Balam, in contrast to the charm of Spanish colonial magic towns like Valladolid and the unique “Yellow City” of Izamal. We will conclude in the legendary cultural capital of Yucatán: Mérida "La Ciudad Blanca".

This tour presents an immersive display of Yucatán’s history, culture, and hospitality.

I would say that this trip was not as advertised the tour guide that was sent by Ricardo who was apparently sick for the day was not up to the task. We got a van instead of the SUV. We got some chips. We got cold water. It was nothing like it was last year. I would go out of my way to recommend that people find someone else other than Ricardo Apparently was sick which is understandable but he never checked back in with us. I don’t think he cares. I would find a different tour provider. We ended up with a different tour provider, even though we paid for this one.

We were very disappointed. Ricardo was suddenly unwell so he sent an alternate tour guide and driver. The guide, although very friendly was NOT gay, did not understand the history of the hacienda or the cenotes. He was very nice but it was not what we paid for. We had had a wonderful trip with Ricardo a year ago and returned with two lesbian friends specifically to have Ricardo take us around twice the first night. The Cantina tour was excellent. The second tour was disappointing, although we love the cenote. Ricardo never checked in with us after the trip was finished. I wouldn’t take a trip with him again I believe.

We had a wonderful time on the Cantina tour, especially joy, local restaurant to pop and really enjoyed the live music. Ricardo was a great guide and helped us understand and enjoy what we were seeing

We had a great time. We absolutely recommend using this private tour. Ricardo was amazing and we loved our trip to Chichen Itza and Cenote.
