We asked for a general introduction to the Tarifa area and that is exactly what Nacho created for us. Diverse landscapes, large soaring birds, migrating sea birds, a cliff with 39 griffon vultures and nests, the breeding colony of the Northern bald ibis, waders, etcetera. Nacho is very well informed about the area and we enjoyed the conversations we had while driving from one spot to the other. Highly recommended.

If you're into birding or even just curious, you need to book a tour with him! We were mainly hoping to see the Hoopoe and the Eurasian Bee-eater, but thanks to Nacho, we saw so much more. From the get-go, it was clear that Nacho's knowledge and passion for birding are off the charts. He took us through different habitats, pointing out birds and sharing cool facts about them. His excitement was contagious! While the stars of the show for us were our targets we Nacho also spotted many more species. Nacho's sharp eye and quick identification skills meant we didn't miss a thing. He made sure we were having a great time and catered to our interests and comfort throughout the trip. We had the most glorious day bird watching 8.30 to 6 30 absolutely fantastic .it was easy to make the booking which went well with Maria s help as I'm not the most computer savvy.iwas kept in touch with at all appropriate times .on the day we were picked up and went to 4 sites our guide was brilliant . knowledge and thoughts ful I I recommend thoroughly

This was the first time we had a private birding tour, and as relatively inexperienced birders we were blown away with the experience. Door to door pick up by Nacho, in a comfortable vehicle, we were immediately feeling great in his company. The company were already aware of our birding experience and had asked for any specific species we were looking for. We were happy to see any birds, but interested in migration. Nacho took us to Observatorio de aves de la playa de los Lances. where we were introduced to species we hadn’t seen before with explanations on variations across countries. Who knew there were Spanish sparrows and different starlings?? It was especially enjoyable as we saw a flock of garganey fly past, much to the obvious enthusiasm of Nacho . Further visit inland proved to be just as interesting where we stopped to eat our picnic lunch. We had been asked if we wanted a restaurant lunch but chose to provide our own lunch to get maximum time ‘in the field’ . Up in the hills we got to see the migrating black kites coming in, vultures on the crags and little swifts which caused great excitement. A final visit to La Janda nature reserve with fabulous eagles and little birds a plenty. Sub alpine warbler, wheatear shrike, Cetti’s warbler, and a whole lot more. Through out the trip Nacho gave us information on the history of the area, from cave paintings to how La Janda was drained. We had a fabulous time, enjoying both the wildlife and conversation with Nacho who was so easy to get on with. It was the first day of our holiday and memorable in so many ways. Thoroughly recommend everything
