After breakfast, you’ll visit some iconic attractions in Accra, including Black Star Square Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and the W.E.B. DuBois Center. Then we’ll take a drive to visit with some African-Americans living outside Accra at Prampram where you’ll enjoy lunch featuring a variety of typical local cuisine.  Today we travel from Accra to Central Region for a tour of the castle, and a tour of Elmina township where you will observe typical daily life in a fishing village. We return to the hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Coconut Grove Hotel in Elmina or similar hotel. 

After breakfast, we’ll visit Akomapa residence for drumming lessons. After lunch and some time at your leisure, you’ll be entertained by a cultural troupe performance in the evening. Overnight in Elmina Coconut Grove Hotel, or similar hotel. 

 After breakfast today we will visit the chiefs and elders for a naming Ceremony during which you will receive your Ghanaian name. This will take the whole morning, after which we head to Mabel’s Table for a delicious lunch by the sea. Then we’ll proceed to Kakum National Park. Get ready to walk across the canopy walkway for those who are willing and adventurous enough to walk among the trees! Overnight at Coconut Grove Beach Resort Elmina.
