You can expect to awaken each morning with an artful vinyasa practice designed to enliven your being and integrate the experiences and insights of the day through a yin or restorative practice in the afternoon/evening in the open air rooftop yoga shala with stunning 360 degree views. There will also be two workshops throughout the week tailored to the group's interests.

Whether you want to spend the day relaxing on the white sand beaches and lounging at the pool or exploring the Caribbean with a snorkel, there will be abundant opportunity to unwind, travel inside, and play in this magical paradise. Paddle boards and kayaks are on site for our use, and spa services are also available.

Isla Mujeres, also known as "The Island of Women" is located approximately 20 Km's off Cancun's shores. Easily reachable by a 20 minute boat, the island extends about 7 Km's from end to end. Isla Mujeres is home to some of the worlds best beaches, with white sand and bright blue Caribbean waters. Despite being so close to Cancun, the island is substantially more laid back, tranquil, and relaxed...the perfect place to unwind, explore, and connect with both nature and self.

Meet Your Host Gina Marciano E-RYT500

We are never more fully alive, more completely ourselves, or more deeply engrossed in anything, than when we are at play." For Gina, her mat has been a playground over the past 14 years. With a background in dance, she has always been dedicated to expression through movement, but the practice of yoga propelled her into the realm of self inquiry, discovery, and acceptance. Gina holds space for students to embark on a path of inner exploration, infused with lighthearted spirituality rooted in the belief that we are all connected. She artfully designs sequences that bring the body into a state of flow, accompanied by beats that set the soul free, while offering the power of touch to support increased awareness. Gina combines her knowledge of alignment with her passion for freedom and encourages practitioners to establish internal balance and harmony, liberation for the body and mind, and a deep connection to the soul.

Gina is an E-RYT 500 and has lead eight 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training programs in Phoenix, AZ and Chicago, IL. She created The Madison Improvement Club's 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program in Phoenix, AZ as well at Shri Yoga Center's program in Highland Park, IL, in addition to co-creating Yeah's Yoga's teacher training program in downtown Chicago. Whether she is teaching public classes or private students, workshops for practitioners or teachers, trainings or retreats, she is honored to share the beauty of the practice with all who want to learn.

This event was exceptionally well organized - everything one needed was available, warm and friendly staff available to answer questions, unbelievably excellent food. Casa Coco is a perfect place to have a group event - easy to interact but also privacy, all in an incredibly beautiful setting. Best of all, two yoga classes a day led by the fantastic teacher, Coral Brown! It was a great week.

Having Casa Coco coordinate our transfers made life so simple. They were there for us every step of the way. My retreat guests raved about how it helped them feel so well cared for having someone greet them at the airport, get them to the ferry seamlessly and also taxis to the villa.
