Studies show that when like minded women gather together, levels of oxytocin increase significantly. I have experienced this personally in the many women’s gatherings that I have hosted and attended. These experiences have been an essential part to my own personal growth and is the reason why I feel called to lead this retreat and hold space for others.

Playa Negra is Puerto Viejo’s black sand beach that stretches just over 10 kilometers of volcanic rock sand and crystal clear waters. Often more secluded and quiet than Puerto Viejo’s white sand beaches, it is great for surfing, swimming, or a long beach stroll.
Puerto Viejo is different than the rest of Costa Rica. Puerto meaning port and viejo meaning old, it’s a town full of rich culture, music, afro caribe vibes, and all things Pura Vida. What makes this place unique to Costa Rica is that it is essentially the melting pot of the country with Jamaican and Panamanian immigrants, Indigenous communities, local Costa Ricans, and expats from all over Europe and the Americas.
