Start your day with a scenic drive from Medellín through lush, rolling hills to the colorful town of Guatapé, known for its stunning landscapes and charming streets.
Your journey begins with an optional stop at the iconic Peñol Rock, a towering monolith offering breathtaking panoramic views. For those up for the challenge, you can climb the 740 steps to the summit and be rewarded with unparalleled vistas of the surrounding reservoir and countryside.
Once in Guatapé, we’ll embark on a 4-hour boat ride across the tranquil waters of the Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir. As you glide past vibrant green hills and the reflection of the blue sky on the water, you’ll have the chance to relax, socialize, and enjoy the company of like-minded travelers. Dive into the refreshing water for a swim or simply bask in the sun on deck as you savor the moment.
Midway through the tour, indulge in a traditional Colombian lunch, featuring local flavors and ingredients that reflect the rich culinary heritage of the region. Afterward, we’ll dock in the heart of Guatapé, where you can explore the town’s colorful streets, take photos of its famous zócalos, and immerse yourself in the unique culture of this picturesque destination.
Whether you’re climbing the Peñol Rock, cruising the serene waters, or wandering through the vibrant streets of Guatapé, this tour is designed to celebrate freedom, community, and the joy of authentic experiences.
