This morning we will explore two of the most important museum in Guatemala City.

Founded in 1973 the Ixchel Museum has the biggest collection of Guatemala handmade

textiles from different ethnic groups of Guatemala. In our guided tour we will learn about

techniques, designs, symbols and patterns of Guatemala weavings.

Later we will continue to visit Popol Vuh Museum, with a big selection of Maya Pre-Columbian

ceramic art found in different archaeological sites of Guatemala. The last part of our visit will

be the Colonial Art Museum area.
