Jan. 19 & 20
DAY 1: We'll take a boat across the lake to the vibrant town of San Pedro to meet up with Anita, our local Mayan friend and chef. Anita will take us to the bustling local market to buy fresh, locally-grown ingredients and then back to her kitchen overlooking the lake for an authentic Guatemalan cooking class during which she'll share her heart-warming story of what it was like as a Mayan growing up on lake Atitlan. After a delicious meal, we'll visit a women's textile co-op where you'll have the opportunity to purchase beautiful, handcrafted souvenirs that support single women and their families around the lake.
DAY 2 : With a geologist as our guide, we will hike up to a local peak to watch an epic sun rise over Lake Atitlan’s sacred waters where on a clear day, it’s possible to see 8 volcanoes, including one which is currently erupting. At the top, while sipping local coffee, our guide will take us on a mind-bending journey through deep time as we learn how this geological wonder came to be over countless eons.
Lodging and additional meals not included (we can give you recommendations where to eat and stay).
Post-retreat option can be added after booking, provided there is still availability.
Jan. 9 - 11
Gather for 3 ceremonies with the warrior frog medicine before the retreat to prepare your vessel and open the pathways to the heart.
Kambo helps clear out toxins and stuck energies and is an excellent way to prepare the mind, body and spirit for a psychedelic journey and more generally, for all the work we do on retreat.
People who sit with Kambo beforehand often say they feel much more open and receptive to the medicine and that they felt better prepared than they would have been otherwise. From personal experience we find that all the work we do greatly benefits from Kambo.

Pre-retreat option can be added after booking, provided there is still availability.

We cannot make exceptions to this cancellation policy. However, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect you in the case of unexpected circumstances and unplanned cancellation, see our trip insurance recommendations below.
There are two main reasons we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip:
1) Travel insurance provides financial protection in the event you must cancel due to personal injury or illness including COVID-19, unexpected scheduling conflicts, the health or death of loved ones, job changes, and other reasons. Cancellations are a lose-lose-lose situation: for you, for us, and for the group (which will miss out on your wildness).
2) Travel insurance provides supplementary medical insurance in the case you are injured or become ill during your trip.
We strongly encourage that you purchase travel insurance, especially if you must fly to the trip location or if it is an international trip where you may not be covered by your existing medical insurance. Here’s a few travel insurance companies where you can purchase travel insurance for your trip:
