About this trip

Join us in this very special women-only get-away to the lush and beautiful island of Jamaica. It’s time for an adventure with your sisters in spirit. Give yourself the gift of a unique experience and book with us. Start your planning now. Next summer is going to be a big one for us as we celebrate our 7-year anniversary. We want you as you are: hide your hair or don’t care; married and musty; single and happy; brokenhearted and healing; or anything between or beyond, we welcome you.

This is for women of all faiths because we know that Jamaica has the power to connect you to yourself and the universal, adventurous nature of others with you! Plunge into fresh mineral baths, waterfalls, and lagoons. Savor the natural and gastronomic wonders of Stush In The Bush; down-to-earth organic farming; as well as exclusive fine dining in the hills. Climb the Blue Mountains (it’s ok, no special gear necessary), visit the Rasta School of Vision, and experience true local culture! This is your time to have an experience of a lifetime. Plan it and, as Jamaican’s say, reach!

Burgundy Roots Tour: A Journey of Luxury, History, and Spiritual Awakening in Morocco My husband and I recently had the privilege of joining a two-week Burgundy Roots tour, a meticulously planned and utterly unforgettable journey through Morocco. From start to finish, this trip exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We traveled as part of a small, intimate group, which made the experience even more personal and enjoyable. Over the course of the trip, we visited five incredible cities: Marrakesh, Marzouga, Fes, Chefchaouen, and Casablanca. Each destination had its own unique charm, and we were lucky to have local guides who were not only deeply knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about the history and heritage of their cities. Their insights into the culture, architecture, and traditions of each place enriched our experience beyond measure. One of the trip highlights was the overnight stay in the desert. It’s not every day you get to ride a camel into the vast expanse of the Sahara, watch the sunset over endless dunes, and sleep in a luxury tented camp. The visit to an oasis was equally magical—an oasis of peace and beauty amidst the vastness of the desert. The sense of serenity was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. The accommodations throughout the journey were second to none. Riads, inns, and hotels were handpicked for their beauty, comfort, and local charm. Every place we stayed felt like a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The traditional architecture of the riads in Marrakesh and Fes was stunning, and the service was impeccable. The food was an experience in itself! Every meal was a feast for the senses—rich in flavor and steeped in tradition. From aromatic tagines to fresh mint tea, everything was prepared with the utmost care. The variety of culinary experiences made each meal a new adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for better dining choices. A truly unique aspect of this tour was the opportunity to attend nightly lectures by Mustafa Briggs, a special guest who led discussions on Al-Ghazali’s book The Alchemy of Happiness. Mustafa’s teachings were deeply enriching, and his wisdom added a spiritual layer to the trip that helped fill our spiritual buckets. His ability to connect the teachings of the book to our experiences on the road was truly profound. Thank you, Mustafa! Overall, this tour was a perfect blend of luxury, adventure, culture, and spirituality. We are so grateful to Wafa and Burgundy Roots for curating such a transformative experience. The care and attention to detail that went into every aspect of the trip made us feel truly special. This journey will stay in our hearts for a lifetime. If you're considering a trip to Morocco, don't hesitate—this is the tour you’ve been looking for!

My recent trip to Morocco, organized by Wafa and her team, was nothing short of phenomenal! Ever since my first trips with her to Jamaica and Mecca, I’ve been blown away by her ability to craft the perfect travel experience. Morocco was no exception—every detail was flawlessly planned, and Wafa has this remarkable talent for uncovering hidden gems that truly make a trip unforgettable. From the vibrant streets of Marrakech to the golden sands of the Sahara, the amazing riads, every stop felt like a dream come true. Her knack for blending culture, adventure, and relaxation is unmatched, and she always ensures you experience the heart, soul and culture of every destination. It’s rare to find someone with such passion and precision in what they do. Don’t hesitate, book your trip !

Seeing pictures from last year’s Egypt trip brought back memories of my time on the trip. I feel so grateful to Wafa for the care and effort she pours into this. Last year, I was craving a solo adventure to anywhere and decided to sign up with Burgundy Roots on a whim. Out of all the travel groups I looked into, this itinerary felt the most unique. It turned out to be such a lucky first choice, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The trip had a perfect mix of everything important to me: adventure, culture, authentic food, shopping, spirituality. I also never expected to meet people I would stay in touch with a year after my trip, still in awe of how such a balanced group was brought together. Each location offered something special, from the energy of Cairo to the sights of Giza to the tranquility of Siwa. Egypt was unforgettable, and I genuinely loved every moment. iA, here’s to more trips in the future!

This was my first time travelling with Burgundy Roots and I had an incredible time! Uzbekistan was definitely a memorable place and it is one of the most unique and memorable trips I taken. Wafa and her team are amazing at curating a trip that is inclusive of everyone's needs and interests. Every hotel and restaurant was thoughtfully chosen and the tour guides we had in each city were so kind, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and the history of the region. I got to meet people from all walks of life and make connections with folks I will continue to be in touch with. I am looking forward to going on more trips with Burgundy Roots in the future. Book a trip with Burgundy Roots, you won't regret it!

The Burgundy Roots Morocco road trip was nothing short of magical—a perfect blend of breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and incredible hospitality. From the bustling streets of Marrakech to the serene dunes of the Sahara, every moment felt like stepping into a postcard. My photos didn’t do it any justice! What truly made this trip unforgettable was sharing it with our wonderful travel companion, Wafa. Her adventurous spirit and infectious energy added an extra layer of joy to the experience. Special shoutout to Khadija and Muhammad as well, who were awesome hosts along the ride. I would recommend this trip to everyone… a road trip through Morocco with BR is an absolute must! I left with lifelong friends and am already dreaming of my next trip there.
