The highlight of this 3 day/2 night trip to Greenville, South Carolina is the Broadway on Tour performance of Hamilton at Greenville's vibrant venue, The Peace Center.
HAMILTON is the epic saga that follows the rise of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honor, love, and a legacy that would shape the course of a nation. The musical is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography and set to a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway. In addition to its 11 Tony Awards, it has won Grammy®, Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors. Group seats are reserved in Row R of the Orchestra.
Equally matched to the Hamilton experience, are the other aspects of this itinerary in one of the South's Must Visit cities! The morning after enjoying Hamilton we start the day with a narrated motorcoach history tour so you can learn all about Greenville's diverse history ranging from its role in plaid to poinsettias and from "Shoeless Joe Jackson" to Stecca Bread". A special treat will be a visit to the Sigal Music Museum. This is a true hidden gem featuring a rare musical instrument collection such as a harpsichord played by a young Mozart and a piano played by Chopin! On departure day, we experience more of the region with a stop at City Scape Winery for a wine tasting, lunch and views of the mountains. There will also be time on your own to explore the award-winning Main Street, known for it's urban waterfalls, arts, shopping and distinction as one of the "Best Food Cities" in the US by Travel & Leisure.
