This morning, explore Barcelona on a Walking Guided City Tour. See the Barrio Gótico, Plaza de España, Palacio Nacional and Montjuïc, site of the 1992 Olympics. Tour Gaudi’s surreal Church of the Sagrada Familia, an unfinished masterpiece in neo-Catalan style. Afternoon is free to explore using public transportation. Later this afternoon, your guide will lead you on a Walking Tour along the Ramblas, a lively boulevard full of cafés, stands, and artists. Paella dinner at a local restaurant.  B, D

This morning journey on a guided tour to Montserrat, the stunning monastery nestled amidst beautiful rocky peaks, and explore its rich religious and cultural history. Learn about the Black Madonna and the history behind the sculpture. Return to Barcelona. Spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure exploring the city with your courier.  B, D

Transfer to the airport for your one-way flight to Paris. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Discover the City of Lights with your courier. Visit the Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame, a UNESCO World Heritage Site then explore the Latin Quarter across the Seine River from the Cathedral. Your full day metro passes allow you flexibility to travel around the city for your entire stay in Paris. Before dinner, ascend to the second level of the iconic Eiffel Tower to take in panoramic views of this captivating metropolis. Later this evening see beautiful Paris by night from the Seine River on an exciting Bateaux Mouches cruise.  B, D

This morning, enjoy an exciting guided excursion to the Palace of Versailles & Gardens, home of Louis XIV. The Sun King remodeled this former hunting lodge into one of the most impressive buildings in the world. See the fabulous formal galleries, such as the Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed, ending World War I. Return to Paris. This afternoon, explore Montmartre, famous for its artistic heritage. Visit Place du Tertre, once the hangout spot of famous artists like Dali, Renoir and Van Gogh, and the Sacré-Cœur Cathedral. The Cathedral, perched high atop the mountain, is a symbol of peace and devotion, offering breathtaking views of Paris and serves as a prominent landmark. Dinner at a local restaurant in Montmartre.  B, D

Travel to the spectacular Mt. St. Michel, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Entrance and a guided tour of the spectacular and well preserved Norman Benedictine Abbey is included. The former abbey is set up on a huge mount surrounded by sand and sea, often called a “Wonder of the Western World.” Towering atop a rocky islet between Normandy and Brittany, this beautiful spectacle is also home to the medieval village that grew in the shadow of its great walls. Spend the morning at leisure exploring the city with your courier. Explore the fragrant world of French perfumery at the Fragonard Perfume Museum, where history and scent blend seamlessly. Walk the Champs-Elysees, Place de la Concorde, Jardin des Tuilleries, and other highlights. Explore the enormous Louvre on a guided tour. From I. M. Pei’s modern pyramid to the ancient Egyptian sarcophaguses, the Louvre is the largest museum on Earth! After the French Revolution, it opened as a museum and its fabulous collection was rightfully made accessible to the public. While there, be sure to see da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the exquisite Vénus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. This evening climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe for spectacular views of Paris. Spend the evening with the group at your farewell dinner, sharing highlights of your travels in Spain and France.  B, D
