Immerse yourself in your Hometown Sweat community as we head back to Costa Rica for our fourth annual retreat!
We'll be returning to Pura Vida Retreat & Spa, a revitalizing wellness getaway located on an eight-acre gated retreat property surrounded by coffee-draped hills, just 20 minutes from Costa Rica’s SJO Airport.
Join us from March 30 - April 5 as we unwind with daily yoga and pilates sessions, savor nutritious meals from Pura Vida's Holistic Garden, and indulge in moments of relaxation by the pristine pool or at the serene spa.

Important information regarding booking
All room pricing is based on double occupancy. When booking your reservation, select "1" for yourself (and your roommate will select "1" for themself). If you're booking for both you and your roommate, select "2."
If you book the double occupancy rate but do not have a roommate in mind, Hometown Sweat will room you with another awesome yogi.
If you prefer to room alone, please email team@hometownsweat.com for pricing and availability. There are a limited number of rooms, so we want to ensure we do not overbook.
We will be able to offer single rooms based on availability when/if we receive those specific requests.
We are happy to work with you on a payment plan option that makes sense after booking your deposit. You will get reminders to make your payments on the scheduled dates.
After booking your spot, we will send an email with retreat contract details for you to review and agree to. Please be sure to do this upon receipt. Please note that all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to other retreats or Hometown Sweat classes/memberships.
Hometown Sweat Classes
What would a Hometown Sweat retreat be without the yoga classes you know and love? We’re so excited to offer you your favorite Hometown classes twice a day in Pura Vida’s stunning yoga room with incredible views (outside of travel days, which will offer 1 class per day).
We will curate an itinerary of classes that are accessible, fun, and true to Hometown Sweat. Our intention is that the two daily classes complement each other and allow you to feel energized and recharged. The class offerings will showcase the variety of offerings we have here at Hometown Sweat so you can enjoy the classes you know in love in a beautiful place! We understand that the majority of our retreat guests have enjoyed practicing twice per day, so our class schedule during the retreat will be conducive to taking two classes per day.
Food
When it comes to meals, delicious dishes are prepared from fresh local produce and regional purveyors. All meals feature both North American and Costa Rican vegetarian, fish and chicken dishes to nourish your body and soul. Pura Vida is happy to accommodate specialty diets with advance notice.
Complimentary coffee, tea, alkaline water and filtered water are available throughout the day. The wine and juice bar in the dining hall stocks sulfite-free, organic wines, Costa Rican and Central American beers, and bottled water. It is also the place for fresh smoothies, and custom-blended chai and turmeric elixirs.
Pools
During your stay at Pura Vida, enjoy lazy laps and floating on the mountaintop in the solar heated pool or just soaking in the sun poolside. The property also offers a hot tub and Aquatic Treatments pool for therapeutic wellness treatments.
