Explore the magnificent land of fire and ice on our women's trip this September. We'll explore the impact women have had on who Iceland is today. We'll hike on a majestic glacier, wander black sand beaches, stand in awe of thundering waterfalls, experience the thinness of the earth's crust in geothermal areas, soak in thermal lagoons, participate in a citizen science activity, and dine on locally sourced and produced cuisine. In addition to staying and working with local hosts, we'll also be spending time with two women storytellers who will share stories of inspiring and courageous women and how they shaped Iceland's history and culture. This trip takes in the stunning landscapes of Southern Iceland, and also the lesser travelled Snæfellsnes Peninsula, an area that boasts all the wonders of Iceland in one small and friendly region.
