IGUAZÚ

3 nights accommodation in shared dorm + airport or bus station pickup and drop off + excursion to the Falls, both Argentina and Brazil sides.

DAY 1: Puerto Iguazu

Arrival in Puerto Iguazu. Transfer to hostel and check in. Free day.

DAY 2: Puerto Iguazu

Breakfast. 

7.45hs - Pick up from the hostel for the excursion to the Falls, Argentine side (full day): visit part of the Iguazú National Park, which preserves 67.000 ha. of rich local flora and fauna. The park was declared Natural World Heritage due to its scenic beauties and the great biological diversity of the subtropical jungle. The famous falls are in the heart of this Park.

You will start the visit at the Local Museum and continue the Tour along the Lower Trail. Later you will walk the Upper Trail shifting along walkways located above major falls up to the majestic "San Martin Fall” from where you have a panoramic view of the Brazilian falls. Finally, you go with the Train of the Jungle up to "Devil's Throat" station, from where, after a walk along the catwalks, you will reach the spectacular "Devil's Throat" waterfall. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon (around 5 pm).

Optional - “Great Adventure” add-on: a 4x4 truck will take you into the protected areas of the Iguazu National Park, through a path closed to the general public. Once you get to the port, you'll sail the river through the rapids and get as close as possible to the falls. Please be aware that you will get wet, be sure to take some extra clothes if you want to do this excursion!

DAY 3: Puerto Iguazu

Breakfast.

7.45hs - Pick up from the hostel for the excursion to the Falls Brazilian Side and Birds Park (full day): the guide will take you to visit the Iguazu Falls, on the Brazilian side, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Argentine side and get close to some of the falls.

Afterwards, you’ll visit the Birds Park. There you’ll enjoy colourful regional and exotic birds displaying their beauty in huge shelters fenced in and the chance to get in contact with some of them, as well as yacares, anacondas, monkeys and butterflies.

DAY 4: Puerto Iguazu

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airport. End of services.
