About this trip

Join us for a nurturing 3 day weekend at Om Waters— a sacred and stunning space offered to dive deep into your inner wisdom. This is an opportunity to practice self-care, be in a conscious community, and immerse yourself in the warm embrace of Mother Earth. This retreat has been designed to put you at nature's pace— slowing down, quieting the mind, and finding simple joy.Throughout the weekend, we will weave together various modalities to address all levels of your Being and feel the magic of interconnectedness.

YOGA & QIGONG:
Our gentle and moderate yoga classes will benefit beginners, intermediates, and advanced yogis. Participating in our class is not about whether you are "good" at yoga or not. It's not goal-driven or doing poses by auto-pilot. Instead, yoga is an opportunity to spend time in your body, be attuned to the information and sensations that arrive, and staying curious.  This "body awareness" approach keeps learning infinite while building a strong and healthy relationship with yourself. Noticing our physical, mental, and emotional state during yoga poses allows us to fully listen to our body and modify. A mindful yoga practice means we take time to slow down and be in the present moment.

MEDITATION:
Meditation is an opportunity to observe your mind, the habits it tends to go into, and bringing yourself back to the present moment. We begin to see that we are not our minds, and we can let go of our thoughts, judgements, and reactions. In meditation, we practice a healthy relationship with ourselves as we receive information about our physical, mental, emotional, and energy state. Meditation is not "mastered" but rather a continuous journey with ourselves. Benefits of meditation include: stress relief, increased focus, clarity, insight, creativity, and release.  At Hanuman Yoga Retreat, we practice various types of meditation: walking, sitting, loving kindness/compassionate, zen, exploring the five senses, mantras, and more.

NEW MOON CEREMONY with SOUND BATH:
Gabriella from Heart Space will guide us in a beautiful new moon ceremony to set our intentions, let in the energy to open into a new space, and to move with awareness and clarity.

TRE®/ Tension-Trauma Release Exercises:
Learn this revolutionary tool for tension release and how stress and trauma affect the nervous system and body. TRE consists of a simple yet powerful set of exercises that help re-initiate the body’s own mechanism of healing through body tremors. The tremors help lower the stress and tension held in the body, without the need for story, or re-living the original events, leaving us more relaxed, clear, grounded and at peace. A tool you can take home with you and use for life!

INNERDANCE ENERGY WORK:
Connect deeper to your inner wisdom by accessing your right brain and intuitive self. Using music, sound instruments, and other sensory input, you are guided into an expanded state of consciousness where insight and healing can occur. Innerdance energy work uses binaural beats and sound wave frequencies, giving an experience similar to a shamanic journey or elements of yoga nidra. Release is common in the form of physical movements, mental images, emotions, and energy. With release comes openness, clarity, and clearing.

FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS:
The more we tune into our sensations, the more information we receive about an experience. Two family constellations will be offered. One will be a traditional group constellation where one person will have their own issue explored with representatives. We'll also be practicing simple Family Constellation exercises to explore ways of feeling, seeing, and being. The clearer we are in our communication, the better we can get to the root of our needs.

I don’t know whether to call this trip life-changing or life-affirming. In the end, it was everything I needed! Tammy is a kind, down to earth facilitator who truly understands how to care for others. Om Waters is absolutely gorgeous and a magical location that I feel blessed to have experienced. The food was some of the best I’ve had in all of Thailand. It was a dream I’m grateful I’ll carry with me for the rest of my journey. If you’re able to, I recommend making time and space for this experience. You won’t regret it!

I absolutely loved this retreat with Tammy & Alessia!! Everything flowed really well and I felt there was a really good balance between scheduled sessions & free time to just relax, swim and connect with the wonderful group of people. The venue at OM Waters was really a special experience. I had been there before, but the surroundings were even more beautiful than I'd remembered. I especially loved the "Family Constellations" session with Tammy ~ it was really an expansive and profound experience for me (and definitely stretched my comfort zone as well). The food was also overall really great and they made special accommodations for vegan and gluten-free. After the retreat, since the resort is floating on the lake, I did experience a sense of "still moving" for 1 day after the retreat, haha, but totally worth it ;) I'd absolutely recommend Tammy's retreats and would love to join again in the future!

I had a fabulous time. Om Lake was spectacularly beautiful. Tammy and Alicia were wonderfully warm facilitators. I would highly recommend this retreat if you are looking for beauty, solitude, and a deeper meaning for yourself. Francine

I enjoyed engaging in so many activities, including yoga, chi kong, and breathwork, and swimming which were my favorites with competent and attentive hosts and lovely folks who chose to enjoy our retreat. Tammy and Alessia performed well with their presentations. The sleeping quarters were challenging as my room was abutting the wall of the dining area where folks liked to gather and gab. I had a long noisy walk to the toilet at night which was difficult and someone was snoring above or behind me and unfortunately my ear plugs did work so I slept very little the first night. The food was cooked and prepared with good intention but I question the quality of some of the ingredients of some dishes and I thought there was not a lot of nutritional benefit knowing what I know about food. I did suggest to staff that they ditch the soymilk as it. has a poor reputation if not organic. I am on a Keto diet so the food was not so. appealing to me.

The retreat at Haramara was simply amazing. Tammy is an extraordinary facilitator and a wonderful soul. I was able to strengthen my yoga practice thanks to Tammy's most professional teachings. Besides that we were able to enjoy a number of astonishing modalities, in particular in the field of energy work, which were indeed fascinating. Haramara is a heavenly place perfect to get away from everything, find peace and quiet and connect with nature.
