Oge - co-host + meditation facilitator
Oge is a visionary leader on a mission to drive meaningful change across diverse sectors, blending innovation, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to social advocacy. Born in Nigeria, Oge embarked on a transformative journey at the age of 4, relocating to the United States with her mother and eventually finding her vibrant energy in the bustling streets of New York City.
With a background in business, fashion, real estate, international travel, and event production, Oge's career journey has been as eclectic as it has been impactful. Rooted in a commitment to wellness and the arts, she found her calling as a doula, founding YourBabyYourBirth, and immersing herself in mindfulness practices, earning certifications in meditation, breathwork, and yoga.
Today, Oge channels her diverse expertise as a Lifestyle and Mindset Coach, guiding clients toward authenticity and fulfillment. Her passion for healing through meditation, movement, and music extends beyond her coaching practice, as she facilitates weekly book club sessions and curates intentional spaces for profound expansion and creativity. With a perceptive, inspiring, and supportive approach, Oge empowers individuals to tap into their inherent strength and embrace a life of purpose and joy.
Adrian - co-host, chef + cooking workshop facilitator
Adrian, also known as Ital, is a multifaceted Costa Rican artist. He's a chef, Reggae DJ, and creator, driven by a profound passion for cultivating consciousness and culture through various forms of expression: cooking, music, yoga, and art. His culinary and musical journeys are intertwined. In the kitchen and the DJ booth, he crafts experiences that are both creative and intentional. Just as he transforms raw ingredients into unique, nourishing meals, his music sets stir the senses and move people in a profound way.
With over 8 years of experience, Adrian specializes in preparing Ital food, inspired by the Rastafari culture. Ital food embraces the traditional ingredients of Caribbean and African cuisine, reflecting his deep connection to these roots.
As a private chef, he offers his culinary expertise, creating unforgettable plant-based meals for intentional spaces, retreats, gatherings, and dinners.
His work is a holistic celebration of nature, reminding us that we are an integral part of the whole. Alongside food and music, he finds inspiration and balance in yoga and art. Through his artistry, Adrian seeks to activate the senses, nurture mind, body, and soul; preserve culture, and promote wellness for generations to come.
Cameron - yoga teacher + workshop facilitator
Cameron (he/him, 250-CYT) is a Los Angeles based yoga teacher with a passion for the intersection between music & mindfulness, and how yoga enhances artistic expression.
Born just outside of Chicago, Cameron received his BBA in marketing at the University of Michigan. He worked previously as a brand manager at General Mills before following his bliss to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue a career as an actor and recording artist, garnering notable success as a multi-platinum songwriter. It was in LA that Cameron took his first yoga class — a discovery that would shape his path in profound ways.
Noticing the many positive effects it had on his physical health & nervous system he quickly began to incorporate yoga practice and philosophy into his life. More than a decade of practice later, Cameron received his 200HR yoga certification from Modo Yoga International in Toronto. Additionally, he holds a 50HR yoga nidra certification, studying under Jeremy Wolf in Cusco, Peru. Cameron is dedicated to making yoga more accessible to communities of color, creating SweatSoulSound, a yoga and healing series designed specifically for Black men.
His students have described his teaching style as supportive, compassionate, and warm.
Lee - workshop facilitator + sound healer
Lee is a classically trained violinist , composer and vocalist who makes the extraordinary seem simple. With a firm grasp on his artistic approach, he molds and shapes songs into an expression of virtuosity that has earned him the name, “The Soul Violinist.” due to the entrenchment in the heartfelt sounds that evokes emotion and captures the ear immediately.
With many years of study, he earned three music degrees (BS -Music Ed, BS -Audio Engineering, BA -Violin Performance) from Southern Illinois University. His passion for music, technical grasp and discipline made it possible for Lee to add viola, cello, bass, guitar, drums, piano and voice to his production resume .
Sharifa - yoga teacher + workshop facilitator
Sharifa is a vibrant, charismatic, and empowered woman with an easy-going demeanor. As a movement artist, dance teacher, performer, and certified yoga instructor, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her work. Sharifa holds a degree in social work from the University of Costa Rica, grounding her practice in a deep understanding of community dynamics and individual needs.
With a diverse background in dance, including contemporary, jazz, ballet, Afro-Caribbean, street styles, and Latin, Sharifa's teaching spans a wide range of genres. Over her 14 years of teaching experience, she has worked with diverse communities, from young children to elders, enriching their lives through movement and mindfulness.
Sharifa's classes are a testament to her creativity and versatility. By blending different dance styles with meditation and improvisation techniques, she creates a unique and fulfilling experience for her students. Her goal is to not only teach dance but also to foster self-expression, connection, and personal growth.
In addition to her teaching, Sharifa is an accomplished performer, having graced prestigious stages such as Teatro Nacional, Teatro Popular Melico Salazar, Auditorio Nacional, Teatro Espressivo, and Teatro Eugene O'Neill. She has also performed at renowned festivals including Envision, Ocaso, and Pic Nic. In 2023, Sharifa embarked on a dance and choreography residency in Equatorial Guinea, further expanding her artistic horizons.
Throughout her career, Sharifa has sought training opportunities around the world, including in New York and Mexico, enriching her practice and deepening her connection to the global dance community. With her infectious energy and unwavering dedication, Sharifa continues to inspire and uplift all those who cross her path.
