social business tour operator offering off-the-beaten-path excursions with an impact. We offer unique and sustainable experiences in the areas surrounding Antigua and nationwide in Guatemala that give back to the communities we visit. we believe in creating a positive impact with everything we do. 100% net profit of all services booked with us is donated directly to Niños de Guatemala, an NGO providing education and empowerment to ~500 children who would otherwise not have access to it, to break the cycle of poverty and contribute to a better future for Guatemala. We offer unique and memorable experiences that collaborate with the communities we visit and support the local economy by partnering with local guides, providers, and artisans.

What a cool tour! After seeing so many chicken buses on the streets of Antigua, it was fascinating to see how they take derelict school buses from the U.S. and completely renovate them into beautiful, "new" and customized transportation! As we walked from place to place, our guide shared many interesting insights about the local area and the local culture. The Worry Doll workshop visit was really fun. We expected to learn about the history and traditions of Worry Dolls, but we did NOT expect to get "hands on" and have the chance to make our very own worry dolls!! Our instructor is a 3rd generation worry doll maker and she was quite adept at helping each of us to construct our very own worry dolls!! So cool that proceeds from this tour support the children at the Ninos de Guatemala schools. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour!!!

We went on the Worry Dolls tour, it was so good! We met in Antigua, got a chicken bus to a town where we went into Rosa’s house to make worry dolls, and then visited a school ran by the organisation. Our guide Andrea was fantastic! She explained everything really well and was very helpful too. Would recommend this tour to see the real Guatemala with the comfort of a guide!

The easiest way to describe my trip is to say that I plan on returning sooner rather than later. I spent 6 weeks volunteering at Escuela Futuro in Ciudad Vieja. The coordination with the office of Ninos de Guatemala made setting up the trip easy. Brandon, my Spanish instructor, did was excellent. Mostly, though, the school was fantastic. The staff and the students were so incredibly genuine and welcoming. My experience was refreshing and life affirming.

I had an amazing time volunteering with this organization. Jackie picked me and explained everything, then I picked what age I wanted to volunteer with. I spend the day getting several hugs from the 5/6 year olds while I assisted in their classroom. What a wonderful experience and nice to see where my donation went.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience!!! The school students and teachers were inviting, and I really learned a lot! I can't wait to come back again!
