About this trip
Learn the basics of outdoor rock climbing with AMGA or PCGI certified guides! This is our most popular course and participants always come back for more! You must be 6 years of age or older to participate in this course.
The day starts on the ground discussing basic climbing gear, movement on the rock/climbing techniques, balance and body positioning. The 2nd part of the day you'll be climbing on cliffs of various heights and rock types putting together what you learned. Then we move on to belaying, gear overview, safety, climbing knots and much more!
Rates: $125 to $165 per person (cost depends upon location)

My Rappelling trip with Northwest Mountain Guiding never happened. I never received any information on the location of the trip, or times to meet. After leaving many voicemails with this company and the owner, no one ever returned my calls.
Seems to me they just took my money and just ignored me completely. I would never book another trip with this company. They are just a fly by night outfit.
I was very disappointed that I was not able to fulfill my dream of going rappelling. How can I get my refund since Northwest will not return any call?

Joey was awesome! Great instructor for teaching us all about toprope anchors. Very knowledgeable and responsive to questions. He even handed out freebie Hollowblocks at the end!

Trip was cancelled by the host due to weather on Aug 14, 2024. I'm waiting for a refund or for a reschedule but have received neither as of Sept 2, 2024.

and I cannot get virtually any response from the company to reschedule.
I have made repeated attempts to email, text and call and the best I got was one email then nothing
If you are doing business with this company I suggest you discuss this appalling lack of communication with them.
I will probably never get my money back
